   I really like the app and the rewards system overall! The recent update that lets you scan your rewards card from your phone is great. However, I wish the payment options were more flexible. Right now, it only supports Irving Debit Pay, but it would be better if, like some other gas station apps, you could link your debit or credit card, set an amount, or pay in full directly from the app. That would make it even more convenient!

2. 1/5Doesn’t link with Irving Debit?

   Zipline (the debit rewards) and MyIRVING do not connect, so what is the point of using Zipline to add debit for MyIRVING? Why would the app with show “no stations nearby” when you are in the middle of New England? What on earth am I missing here? Do you have to add your debit info to the app also? Why don’t they sync if Zipline is the group used for MyIRVING? Where can you view your MyIRVING account if not within the app? I’ve been emailing since last year to no avail. Response to developer/updated comment: I do not need instructions on how to add payment info. to app as I am extremely technologically advanced. I asked questions above that you did not answer. Also, Irving Oil told me the same thing with instructions (which of course I can easily follow if and when I choose to). Once you connect your debit with Debit Pay through Zipline, it only makes the physical card work. Why do these not sync? It seems like you should work harder to make them sync once a bank acct debit connection has been established. Is IrvingOil not allowing this connection with the company, Zipline, who they allow to approve the debit pay? Who is preventing this? Also, it took the Irving Customer Support on email 3-4 weeks to simply get back to me. Maybe MyIrving is skimping on costs? Is DebitPay even worth it lol? IMHO: NO

3. 1/5The most frustrating app I’ve ever had to deal with.

   I got my rewards card from my local Irving station, then when I get the app I add my card info and for some reason the card number on my account on the app doesn’t match the number on the card. I try to use it at the pump multiple times and all I get is “welcome rewards member!” Then continue to pay with my card, my earnings have not showed up in the app. So I decide to try to start over. I delete my Irving account entirely and get a new card from my station, when I enter my email I now get invalid credentials, or this email has already been used. So now I can’t even use rewards unless what, I create a whole new email? I deleted the account. It should not still be an active account that I can’t use the same email again. I emailed the support adress listed on the app twice, and no response. I guess I will just go to other gas stations to refuel.

4. 1/5Warning - Privacy Leak, Dark Patterns

   To actually use this download app, you MUST give not just your Bank Account and email address, but also (no joke) your birthdate, drivers license number, drivers license state issued info, social security number, and the app wants to track your location. You want to give this to the gas station?!? Nope! Nada! Never! Look out below! (Update after response below): as you see, the response below deflects/ignores the issue described above. In fact, you DO need to give ALL the personal/private info described to actually use the App, which I would NEVER do. Yet, looking at other commenters, apparently the App hardly even works at many (most?) of the locations. I feel bad for these developers and the support people who are clearly told how to respond to these feedback. You’ve been warned.

   The card is awesome calling customer service at the gas station because something wasn’t working was horrible. The woman. Spoke to me like I was stupid like literally asked me. You don’t remember your pin. I said I had to wait for everything to go through the bank so yeah, I’m not sure which one it is. literally It was just really bad customer service on the phone. Everything else was a good experience. I’m glad the cards activated. I never want to call customer service
