5/5BEST Journal/Mood/Diary app all in one I’ve found.
It asked me pretty quick what I think, I don’t normally like to rate so quickly, but this is a really great app. Honestly, this is THE BEST journal/mood/diary app I’ve downloaded. And I’ve gone through several and even wasted a couple bucks. Wish I’d have found this one first. I’ll be using it everyday or as much as I can! What is has: It’s simple but does everything I need it and want it too, including having a calendar, mood input, journal entry spot and a place to put pictures. It even asks you what your grateful for to help you boost your mood and remember that there are positive things even if only very small. You can even add additional questions or remove all questions if you’d like. It’s got a passcode lock with a recent upgrade which is great and works with my iPhones face unlock feature. What could be upgraded: I would also like to see an option to change the start day of the week on the calendar. A little decoration wouldn’t hurt, such as changing background color or something cute and quirky like that. A way to backup would be great to put the entries onto my computer, even better if I could email as a file to save on a computer. Doesn’t seem to have ads, so 5 stars for now. Which I’ll leave as long as I don’t see an ad. If there is an ad at some point as long as there is a way to pay one time to get rid of them I’ll still leave the 5 stars. I always hate monthly fees for apps.

5/5You have got to be kidding me
I wanted this app because I didn’t feel comfortable writing my feelings on paper. With this app I though I wouldn’t have to because they were safe and secure, but the moment I opened up the app, it takes me to a subscription page. I thought I could just exit out and continue with some free version. There was no option for that. I’m only 11 years old and with things going on like school and drama, I’m gonna want somewhere we’re I can write down my private thoughts. I looked at other apps and this one seemed suitable but no. It cost money and it made me so sad because this looks like such a good app. Please make it free or some of it free. I’m not trying to be rude I promise, but things like apps that cost money for the entire thing are just annoying. I hope you consider my suggestion for making some of it free.

5/5Good but I have some suggestions
This is a great app don’t get me wrong I love it and use it like every day. But here is the thing, I am struggling to figure out how to back it up and I am super worried that I am going to break my phone and all my diary from the last year will be gone. So I have a couple of suggestions, 1. Have a feature where you can email the journal to yourself, that way if the app crashes or your phone breaks, your diary is still safe on your email. 2. Share your dairy entries with other people. 3 please fix this bug where I can’t back the diary up. 4 maybe have a new quote on the screen when you open it up, that one is getting rather annoying. 5 have a spot where you can add voice recordings. There is no search choice. If I want to look back on a story by using keywords and/or phrases to find a particular item or story, there is no way to do so. That’s kind of the point of having an electronic diary: to be able to recall an event, story, joke, etc. whenever you want. Also, I just want to see a list of the dates, with partial entries listed from top to bottom of screen. That format makes a whole lot of sense. The diary I’ve been using since 2013 is no longer in the App Store, but I sure wish it was!!! It’s perfect. No ads and it was free. I bought the 11 pro iPhone in November 2019, upgrading from the 6s plus from 2015 and I can’t get it on my new phone. I’m super bummed. I have to carry both phones with me.

5/5LOVE this during Pandemic
I thought journaling during the Covid19 pandemic would be helpful! I am completely in love with this app. It has a great calendar, I can add my thoughts for the day, I can upload pictures each day and it lets me change the appearance of the font and color. I posted this on my Facebook wall and have had many friends download as well now. Thank you for a wonderful way to document this unprecedented time in our lives.

You can now lock the diary with a pin code and with biometrics (face ID or touch ID depending on your device). It's easy to setup from the settings section and makes your diary finally secure from any intruder. We've also improved the look and feel of the diary, especially for the new iPhones. Dear users, We discovered a bug in the lock feature for iPhone X, when using FaceID authentication. We fixed that. Was a terrible experience to acknowledge some of you may have lost access to the diary this way, we're very sorry. Nonetheless, now it works. Updating the app will be enough to unlock the app again. It will also recover all your memories, unless you deleted the app, which makes us feel even more sorry. Thank you for using the app and reading these release notes. Howdy, users? Here's a pretty big update! We've been listening to your comments and reviews. They were precious, thank you all! Main features requested were: - Diary personalisation, especially font family, font size and Colors - Data backup, so that your data is super safe (without compromises in privacy) Guess what? We delivered! We back up your data on iCloud. It's encrypted by your device and you can restore it to a new device if you change it for whatever reason! Remember to enable iCloud backup for this to work, since it's all managed by iOS. There's one more implication to this: we don't need to upload your data anywhere! It's all safe and encrypted, with the level of data protection that only Apple is able to guarantee. Regarding diary personalisation... Go check that out. We're sure you'll like it, now your diary can be so nice and personal!
