5/5An essential add on for Apple Music
This app takes apple music from a disorganized mess and turns it into a wonderful, customizable catalog of music, more easily accessible than you could imagine. I have over 150 albums saved right now, but with tags you are able to put them into boxes that allow no one album to get lost. This flexibility has allowed me to explore more albums and genres than I otherwise would have for fear of cluttering my rigid apple music library. Being able to start an album right from the ios app without even touching apple music is wonderful and makes the whole process so much smoother. This is probably one of my favorite apps of all time...

5/5👍
I’ve tried a few different apps for adding and organizing albums into a “todo list” but they were more broadly focused, combining TV/Game/Book/Music into one app. This as a music specific app with music focused features has been a more useful solution for me. One thing I do wish the iPhone version of the app had (that is more simple to access on the Mac app) is just a quick button on the front page to create new tags. I may be missing it but I think the only way to create tags on iPhone is by managing the tags on an album you’ve added.

5/5It's how your library on Apple Music *should* work.
I've been looking for a good solution for album-focused listening, and after much trial and error, I'm happy to have found MusicBox. One feature I'd like to see is an option to list all artists in the sidebar, not just artists that have new music. Perhaps an option to list artists with new music first, and the rest in alphabetical below? Thanks for your careful consideration in designing this app. It shows!

5/5Great for curation!
If you're the kind of person who gets a lot of music suggestions, or doesn't like cluttering their library with music that friends suggest then this app is excellent. It's a powerful app with a great user interface. The price is absolutely worth it. My only issue is that it has a bit of a learning curve. That being said the powerful features are well implemented so it is what it is - don't let that scare you away from a great app!

5/5Outstanding Utility
Music Box it’s the kind of app you didn’t know you needed before you tried it. It turns out to be an excellent way to you curate your listening. The developer makes other outstanding music-related apps, such as MusicHarbor, which I highly recommend, too. He frequently updates his apps and he’s very open to suggestions for refinements, as well. Very happy to support this talented independent developer.
