  1. 5/5Great app. Brought new excitement to my fitness journey.

I’ve been using this app for over two years. Achieving new skills has brought interest back to my workouts after years of adding weight to the bar with traditional weightlifting. It has enough material to keep me challenged for many more years. In general I have been able to smoothly move through the progressions without injury. Keeping it to two goals on the mission dashboard makes progressing faster and more fun. I have used the chat with us feature to ask questions about workouts and also to give feedback. I was impressed that I got a reply within a day and the rep had coaching knowledge. Some progressions have too big of jumps and I had to come up with my own in between progressions. For example tuck planche to advanced tuck planche and lower down tuck front lever to lower down tuck legs extended front lever. There are some important basic skills that are missing. An L sit progression is the most obvious. The handstand progressions didn’t work for me. I ended up going to a specialized handstand program with more emphasis on balancing drills and flexibility. I havent seen major content additions but there are frequent and significant app improvements. Overall i highly recommend this app. Ive gained strength and skill, kept motivated, and haven’t been injured.

  2. 5/5Life Changing

I have never been able to stick to any exercise that involved machines or schedules or large chunks of time and planning. I have always been one who moves when the moment strikes and because it feels right, but I could never quite figure out how to be consistent at that because it’s easy to put off or inspiration never comes. But this is exactly precisely that option. I am a homeschooling mother of five so when the opportunity presents itself, I open the app, start the workout and I can unload the dishwasher or meet the needs of my kids between sets. I don’t have to change my clothes, I don’t have to go anywhere, I’m just moving in my house and in my life. I am getting so much stronger! I love seeing the progress from where I started to where I am. And I love the movement manifesto!!

  3. 2/5Needs Some Work

Honestly, this app is an amazing idea and I would stick to it 100% if it worked well for me. Unfortunately it is glitchy. Firstly, the video would freeze when I tried to watch a tutorial for one of the exercises, which I didn’t mind because it wasn’t a big deal — most of the other tutorial videos worked. THEN, I tried to start a workout, and I got to the first strength exercise. After the timer finished counting for the first set, the app froze on DONE. It didn’t count the rest time and didn’t let me move on to the next set or the next exercise, which was frustrating. The only option I had was to exit the workout and save progress or discard it. I can’t progress if the app doesn’t work properly in completing exercises. I just did the workout on my own without pressing start workout. I don’t know if it is because I have an iPhone 6s and not a later version, but I REALLY hope you guys can fix this and get the success you deserve from it. I really thought this app was the one for me and I was very hyped for it, but it just doesn’t work.

  4. 5/5Comprehensive and Engaging

I was searching for an app to help me stay focused on bodyweight exercises that could improve my mobility and functional strength, ideally reduce my risk of injury in other forms of exercising I do (trail running largely), but work with my uneven schedule (and motivation) - I think this is the app for me. I’ve been pleased with how thorough the app is, how engaged I’ve been, the diversity of ways to build on my progress (stretching, one-off focused or continuing the program they’ve laid out) and ability to get up to speed on the workouts I’m not familiar with. If that resonates with you I’d encourage you to give it a try. I’ve also been impressed with their customer service when I hit a hurdle or had a question about the program. Hoping to keep this going for months (or even years) to come.

  5. 5/5Amazing app

I was skeptical at first because I’ve tried most calisthenics apps with mixed results. Some are OK but none really lets you progress as you should. This one is completely different and a true calisthenics app. First you take a comprehensive assessment to determine at what level you are for a variety of exercises and moves, and then it tailors a routine for you. But that’s just the beginning. The routines monitor your progress and you start progressing to more complex moves in a steady fashion. You can adjust the length of the workout and some other variables (like using bands) to tailor it to your needs. And there’s a lot more. I’m very happy with this app and the movement concept. I feel for the first time I’m doing true calisthenics. I wish I could give it 10 stars.
