  1. 5/5Even if you’re not a young competitive athlete!

Many training apps focus on high intensity training, competition and younger populations (this can too). But, I found this app to be particularly great for teaching me how to understand and focus more on the importance of recovery, especially as I move into the older age category. I learned that even though I CAN train everyday, I was training too hard and NOT recovering. Staying strong, healthy and fit is very important as we age but overtraining is our enemy. Try this app if you need to learn more about staying strong but feeling good. Also, Dan is amazing at constantly answering questions, maintaining the app, and engaging with participants. I have never seen that with any other app/developer. The new update is awesome.

  2. 5/5Great tool for effective training

The information provided by the app has been an eye opening way to train. It measures and evaluates your HRV along with your sleep information to provide the proper heart rate training for the day. If you had a hard workout planned, it will provide number on your recovery and your heart rate range that will give you the best chance at improving your fitness. They have just introduced a new look to the app and it is easy to see your numbers at a glance. Great app to use ever.

  4. 5/5Great!

I’ve used various training apps/devices over the years. I heard about this from an interview Peter Attia had with Joel, its founder. I was skeptical but they have a 30 MBG, so gave it a try. This is, by far, the most accurate app/device combination I’ve used, to date. It truly dials in my training ability each morning, and adjusts after each workout. In just three weeks my Z-2 wattage has increased by 15%. Funny thing is, Z-2 HR can change depending on recovery. Following its recommendation on what that HR should be, is key to improved performance in the three modes of Recovery, Conditioning, and Overload. Highly recommend!

  5. 5/5Great app for training

If you are serious about training for any sport that values conditioning and consistency, this is the product for you. It offers personalized, actionable, and achievable fitness goals at a price point far lower than its competitors- most of whom rely on a subscription model. Additionally they have had a stable (affordable) price for the 4+ years I’ve been using the product- and they continue to work to improve their product. Dan and Joel also do a great personalized job with suggestions as well as the necessary boring elements of customer service and satisfaction. Give it a try !!
