1. 1/5Account Deactivated During Creation for no Reason

   The only reason I wanted to use MoonPay is that it is integrated with Exodus, which I use. The first time I tried to sell crypto it just spun forever waiting to verify. I just tried again months later, and it actually let me go through the steps to verify my identity using driver license. After that process finally completed, MoonPay said that my account has been deactivated for breaking their terms of service. I contacted support and they said I broke the terms and for security reasons they can’t give me any details on what I did wrong. Literally all I have done using MoonPay in my entire life is attempt to sign up the first time and it loaded forever, and attempt to sign up again when I actually completed the process of verification. Apparently attempting to become a customer is against their rules and no one is allowed to use their service. They would prefer I use a different exchange. Makes no sense whatsoever!

2. 1/5DONT USE THIS APP

   (I rated 5 stars in hope someone sees this before downloading this awful app) For 2 months I’ve struggled for them to verify my ssn even after help i attempted once again to verify my identity only being given the option to give my ssn just for my account to be DISABLED after my 5th attempt trying to put my ssn in. I have $160 in my moonpay account i transferred from coinbase and they wont even let me send my money back to my coinbase! So they can take my money from other accounts but wont let me send the money back? Even after reaching out for assistance they have yet to do ANYTHING to help my account be verified or get my money back! Each time they just instructed me to try again which is completely unhelpful and now my account is disabled with money they wont let me take back out the account! Save yourself a headache and use another app for your crypto and investments!

   When you type in “Remove payment method in moonpay” in google, the first result that pops up in the search results is a “sponsored site” done to look very formal and professionally done made to look like moonpay’s website …except if you click on that site, that website address is not moonpay dot com. I went as far as calling the number on that site and the person on the other end had an Indian accent. Thinking nothing of this, I proceeded to the point where I was instructed to launch my AppStore and search for an app called “ConnectWise Control”. Right then and there I hung up the phone realizing what he was trying to do - to gain access to my screen and grab the screen with my seed phrase to my wallet. At the end of the day, MoonPay has easy on-ramp, but I couldn’t transfer out by crypto from this MoonPay app and had to use an external app to import my seed phrase to recover my crypto. Guys. Beware and stay educated.

4. 1/5DONT DOWNLOAD WORSE APP FOR CRYPTO

   I deposited a couple dollars and I wanted to get it sent back to my card the minimum you can withdraw is 67 so they want you to spend at least $100 on app that no one uses. I called many support numbers for help one of them laughed because I said I was tryna take $20 off the account smh they kept saying someone was gonna call me for help and no one ever called me I’m not depositing anymore money just to withdraw that’s stupid.. it’s just sad. I talked to 5 people and they all said they exact same thing and I still haven’t received help. I don’t think anyone should use this because imagine having to have $68 + dollars for a crypto app to withdraw your money. 0/10 this app is useless and it’s like they are forcing me to keep money on here that I don’t want on there.. Many other apps for crypto don’t pick this one.

5. 1/5Won’t let me SELL my crypto!!?!?

   I got an Exodus wallet and the transactions were processed through MoonPay. I was verified and allowed to purchase crypto, but now that I want to sell it Moon Pay is saying that my ID is NOT verified!?! It is claiming that my Social Security number of five decades is Not correct, and it denies my attempt to sell. So I was verified to buy crypto, but NOT to sell it !?? Customer service is NOT helpful, after a second hour-long chat they still would not provide a link to upload the documents to prove my verification. I am stuck and can’t sell. Funny,MP ended the chat after I told them that I scrolled up and screen recorded everything that had transpired. They are preventing me from having access to my assets. I know my own Social Security number!! FRAUD app. STAY AWAY! ❌
