   this game is genuinely the best idol simulator game out there right now. it’s addictive, fun, and hooks you instantly. was a huge fan of the first version too, so this was highly anticipated. no complaints but I do have some requests! please update more regularly, like new clothing and hair options. also..maybe have more group options, maybe not totally more groups but once you hit the max you can’t have units anymore and I don’t think that should count. Also maybe add scandals or inter group drama, if that’s possible. But mostly, and the most doable because I understand some things take too much work or are impossible, is updating clothing and hair options. because when you have many idols of one gender the options are very limited if nobody is having the same outfit. And it would also keep people coming back for updates.

2. 4/5More options than its predecessor but… EDIT

   This game hands down beats the first, while the first monthly Idol has its perks, this one has more options, customizations and you can even make a mini me😆 I mean how cool is that! However in the beginning the game and its tutorial is not as simple as the first, and I get it there is definitely more to learn… Cons so far: Looking at everything at first is a little overwhelming, there is a lot more icons and tools to learn, which isn’t bad per say but the simplicity of it is gone. Its hard to figure out how to manage each idol and maybe it’s its just me Perhaps it’s because I haven’t advanced far enough into the game but the schedule u can only assign one thing at a time for each group or person. I don’t know if the options increase later on or not. The time that production takes is longer and slows the chance of debut other groups compared to the first game. Pros right now: CUSTOMIZING IS AMAZING!!! Theres so many groups you can choose: idols, bands, singers I mean thats way better!! I love the people walking around!!! I like how there is more to see in the office too. I like watching the idols ride in the car to their destination and I like watching them practice. Clicking on the flowers and diamonds os beyond easier compared to monthly idol 1, so I really love that. The game bugs a bit but overall Im happy with it for now EDIT: The Drawing is only geared towards Female clothing, it’d be nice to separate the drawing for boys and girls

3. 4/5It’s a bit buggy, but really fun

   The first game was super fun even though it took me forever to get an idol to at least an A-, but this game is somehow easier. Like, it’s easier to make super successful groups, there’s more group types, diverse skin colors (finally), and there’s more relationship building among the idols. It used to take a billion years for idols to even be acquainted with each other in the old game and the reward was not beneficial at all. This game makes it more interesting and worth the idols befriending each other with the dialogue and ability to date and even get married. I will admit, the translations aren’t very refined, there are lots of bugs, and the UI is super convoluted when you first start and the tutorial isn’t all that helpful. But once you start, it’s impossible to exit the game. I love that you can put together your own outfits as well as make the idols wear makeup. Easily the most addictive game I’ve ever had on any of my devices. I love the mini games as well as participating in the Create An Idol show. I do wish for more merchandise like posters, signed vinyls, and maybe jewelry. I do know that this game is still being developed, though, and the 608 team is probably working on the actor career. But seriously, thank you for this game

   Monthly idol is a great game and it’s really fun but I feel like it’s missing something, I wish when you release an album or a single you can do TikTok challenges with other idols, and maybe show us having a fancall with a fan it can be good or bad so it’s more realistic but add some more features please + when we release an album we should be able to choose if it’s an English release, Japanese release, or Korean release. We should also be able to make choreography for our group(s). Also can we have more trainees from different countries like Japan, China, Thailand, or Vietnam, Etc. Can we also have more tour places like in America, Europe, Canada, Australia, or even Africa!

5. 4/5Returning Player!

   I’ve been a long time player of Monthly Idol so I was really excited to see this prequel to the game! It definitely offers a lot of new mechanics, which I love to see. Makes it all feel new again! My only request is to make some slight adjustments to the trainee, scheduling, and production team system. Previously, you were able to feed trainees(their skills) to others as a way to make up for the money you lost during casting if they ended up being a less than great rank. I thought this was an amazing mechanic and would love to see it back in the game as I feel like the company only takes losses with the sole option here being to kick trainees out. Another thing I really miss is the ability to schedule four events at a time instead of one per week. This honestly slows down the pacing of the game and really burns me out, I feel like I make such little progress because of it. The biggest piece of feedback I have is for the randomized team generator during music production. In the original Monthly Idol, you got to pick whether you wanted a more expensive art director/choreographer/etc. with a better rank rather than spend money in the gacha and hope for the best. This feels like a significant downgrade and the feature pales in comparison to all the other mechanics within the game. I hope everyone can understand that this review isn’t meant to be hateful, rather constructive criticism coming from a dedicated longtime fan! I’d like to extend my most grateful thanks to everyone involved in the development of this game series, Monthly Idol is my absolute favorite mobile game of all time! Good job and good luck everyone 💗💗💗
