4/5Needs bank sync
If ever this app added bank sync it would be a top tier standard. As it is now it feels more like debit & credit, an app I used in college & about a year after graduating. It does train you to a certain mindset about expenses, but it’s easy to get behind in keeping track when all the entry is by hand. For an app that charges a $30/year sub I was surprised by the lack of web access bank connection. It’s effectively charging the cost of an app with actual AI built in (eg ability to set filters and predictive category assignment etc) but expecting the user to do all the data logging footwork. I suppose it appeals to those without 3+ years of records to import, but given all entries seemingly need to be individually edited it’s not ideal for those not starting from square one. Definitely love the concept, really really wanted to love it. Was ready to drop the $75/lifetime until I spent about 6 hours trying to fumble through all the data entry. Then realized I was working too hard to make an app work the way I wanted it to, which never works out in the long run. Will keep my eye on it, definitely a promising developer team and concept.

3/5Great app just some edits are needed
So I enjoy the layout. This is essentially a glorified app version excel budget sheet. It’s all manual except the repeating exp/inc that happens. Transactions and all the other jazz so not bad. Def will get you in the habit of tracking funded better especially with a. Manual process. The only thing bothers me is the transactions. 1st when I’m setting up future exp and income(ex: biannual salary) while there is no way to specify my income only in months I use the real wing income to have a repeating flow on my income on the 15/30th but when I look at my transactions I see all that info. IMO- each transactions that is future dated should not show until that that date has arrived. I understand the dates are there it just all looks like a jumble of transactions oppose to day by day transactions. Cause I’m that case with all my autopay there a lot of repeating so the 1st of the month there like 20 transactions showing before they even happen. Plus showing me what is currently in my account not any future income… keep everything as current as possible and don’t confuse or over indulge the screen with future dates items until those days arrive

5/5Work in progress…
I like the app. The functionality is being built inside this app are extremely useful but it will take time to get used to using the app. I am a college student, I spend over four hours trying to navigate through the app and build your own personalize system to keep track of your spending or setting up your goal to pay college debt. I highly recommend using the tutorial to guide on building a personal system of your own to explore. I know this app is still currently work in progress. A few things I like to see on upcoming update are the Categories and the iCloud sync. The general in the category for the expense and income always seem to update itself and I am unable to delete it. (OCD about organization) iCloud sync function. I believe I am doing correctly but currently it doesn’t seem to sync through out my apple ecosystem device. I always have to update manually in each device to “sync”.

5/5Bank sync
This app definitely needs to add bank syncingRight now I feel like I have to do too much to keep up with my finances but there are many other apps out there that just pay synchronizing with the bank account can automatically categorize all my expenses based on the vendor so I can know and how much money I spent on groceries or car note our home expenses etc... I still have to get credit to this app because I love their interface it’s so smooth and easy for the eyes to understand what I had in front of me but I would much appreciate it if I can have my bank account sync with this account and have more automated system so I can easily set goals in budgets and the app will show me automatically based on my expenses from my bank account how much money I spent from my budget or how much money I have saved towards my goal I hope I can get a response from the developer for any further questions I’ll be happy to help. 3/5Good, but could be better
Got the app and paid for premium because it added some awesome features. However, upon starting to use the app, I found that you can’t split transactions into different categories. That’s a huge dealbreaker for me as most of the purchases I make are typically comprised of items from multiple different categories. I could go and make individual transactions for each portion of the full purchase, but I must be honest and say that’s a lot of extra work to create all of those transactions and it would just be faster for me to write it down at that point. It’d also be amazing to have the ability to link bank accounts. That’s always incredibly convenient. Overall great app, but missing some key features that I need in a budget/financial app. **Also FYI the widget didn’t work which I was really sad about because that was what made me download the app. You guys have the most useful widgets in an finance app that I’ve seen.

11.1.3
Happy New Year! Here’s what’s new in MoneyCoach: - Improved the *automatic* detection of repeating transactions for online accounts We got rid of the whole automatic detection as it wasn’t working properly and now we allow you full control on what online transactions are repeating. Find the transactions that are actually repeating transactions and turn on the Repeat Transaction toggle. The app will then identify similar transactions and bundle them together. Additionally, when previewing the main repeating transaction in the Transaction Preview screen you can also see all of the child transactions that the app has identified and if you don’t want a specific transaction on the list, you can tap the X button and it will not be counted as a repeating transaction. This is a great way to clean any errors that have happened with the prior automatic detection. - Fixed the “Subscribe” card Now, if you are a premium subscriber, you should not see the blue Subscribe card on the Overview. If you do still see it, please contact support. We fixed some other minor bugs. Here’s to a great 2026, we’ve got a lot of cool things planned! Enjoy!
