   This app helps me fall asleep as well as focus on studying! Please update the app so all of your fans can continue enjoying it! Thank you 😊 So...it's updated but as many fans have mentioned the timer and background noise options are now not available 😞 please add these options back! I might have to switch apps although this one has been my favorite for years.

2. 2/5Still missing components, not compatible with iOS 11.1

   I appreciate the developer’s effort to finally refresh the MindWave 2 app after years without updates. This at least enables the app to open in the current iOS 11, making it now the only one out of three apps by the developer that is compatible. The others (the original MindWave and MindFreek) still don’t open and need updating. However, this update falls short. It was disappointing enough under iOS 11 to see that features like background music, timers, and independent volume control have disappeared. But even then, at least I could get the tones to play. It’s even worse, though, in iOS 11.1, that the app crashes repeatedly and won’t even play tones. I don’t know whether this has to do with the headphones being used, but I note the review posted by another customer and will try that workaround in the meantime. Are updates coming that will restore the app to its previous functionality? Will the other apps be updated? I prefer binaural beats to isochronic tones (they actually work better for most, from what I have read), so it would be most beneficial for that to be brought back. While I wouldn’t mind if the features of all three paid apps were combined into this one, not everyone may have bought this one, so it may be important to keep the updates separately. Either way, please respond about the plans for the apps. I’ve rated this a 5-Star before and it has been my go-to...and would like to rate it 5-star again. But if there aren’t updates forthcoming, we need to know so we can find replacement products. Thanks and looking forward to return of features we know and love.

3. 2/5Update bug, removed features, UI lame

   The "update": (1) broke audio playback using my AirPods with an iPhone 7 Plus, (2) REMOVED features (all background sounds and levels, sleep timers, and (3) added a favorite label, but doesn't sort the list of sounds with favorites up top (still have to scroll through a long list of ridiculous graphics to find favorites). To workaround (1), I have to switch the audio output to the phone, start playback, pause playback, then switch audio back to the AirPods. Otherwise app UI Crashes with no sound being played (but app is still running?? Until I switch back??). For (2), there is no workaround and it is somewhat unforgivable to remove features for a paid app. It looks like the mindwave app now has the features of mindwave 2 app???? So, am I supposed to be baited to buy the other app to get the original features???

   I found the original version of MindWave extremely useful and I was really sad when it stopped being updated and my phone no longer could run it. I was excited to find a new version, but I think the latest iOS (11.2.2) update broke it because the app instantly crashes when I open it. I have tried restarting the phone but that didn’t help. Please keep this app going, it’s so wonderful and I have come to rely on it. Monetize it if you have to, charge for updates to unlock new tones, release a new version that costs $20, I don’t care, I need it to work! Nothing else helps my headaches like this app.

   I've used this app almost daily for at least 6 years because I was noticeably more productive using the study helper beats in addition to the trance/ambient music that keeps me focused. I continued to use it despite the old version being "incompatible" with my iPhone 6/latest iOS. Was so excited for the update, but came to find I don't have the option to use timers, and any music playing is stopped when I open the app. That was a main reason I stuck with Mind Wave 2 over other beat/tone apps, because there was no interference. The redesign is beautiful but I hope you'll be able to restore some of the old functionality, otherwise I may need to look elsewhere :(
