  1. 4/5Good app but..

Good app very informational and eye opening to benefits I didn’t know i had but service members shouldn’t have to pay to know what benefits we get especially that the creator is military. he should be educating his brothers and sisters in arms for free but great app I love the information this app gunned

  2. 3/5Needs more for retirees

This app looks great and seems to be helpful for active duty and currently serving members. It doesn’t have much for retirees. For the cost, I expected more. I do not see the value in paying that price for an app that might get used once or twice per year. The information for the active component is really good and a lot of thought was put into it. There just is not enough for retirees to justify the cost. Most of what is on there, we already knew about. Thank you for putting this together. Perhaps it will be valuable if there is an update that will focus on ALL veterans. But until then, it just isn’t worth the cost- especially when many of us are on fixed income (add the disability to your pay tables). You have a good start, so I hope to see you continue to grow and expand.

  3. 1/5App does not work

After seeing several reels promoting this app, I decided to download it and signed up for the monthly subscription. Unfortunately, that’s where my experience came to a halt. I have been unable to sign in using either Google or Apple, and the account creation process never completes successfully. I’ve attempted multiple times without success. To make matters worse, the support options through the App Store don’t appear to work either, leaving me with no way to get assistance. It’s disappointing because the app looked promising enough for me to become a paying customer. However, I’ve paid for a subscription and still can’t access the product. For an app being actively advertised and accepting subscriptions, the onboarding and support experience should be far more reliable. I understand there may be growing pains if this is a newer platform, but these are fundamental issues that need to be addressed quickly. Until then, I can’t recommend paying for a subscription.

  4. 1/5Improper Payment

It is nearly impossible to get in contact with the military benefits app in the event you need to contact them. I was improperly charged and sent numerous emails to the advertised contact info, but never received a response. The app mentions a 1-2 business day reply, but I was blatantly ignored despite several attempts to get in touch with the platform. As an active duty military member, it seems like there’s more of an emphasis to make a profit rather than rectify a problem and support the military community at large. I was highly disappointed in my experience and spent several hours of time trying to simple make contact with the platform.

  5. 1/5Waste of Money

Very low quality compared to the hype its creator made it out to be on social media. I cancelled my subscription and yet was still charged. I’ve reached out to them via email and yet no response. It’s been days. This app has potential with its structure but as of right now between no customer service assistance and minimal information on benefits, it has a long ways to go before it can beat AI automating benefits for you. I want my money back because I cancelled my subscription and was still charged!

  • 1.0.5

Thanks for using Military Benefits App! This update brings behind-the-scenes improvements to subscriptions, performance, and stability. We've also clarified the wording on the account-deletion screen so it's clearer how to manage your subscription. Thank you for your service.

  • 1.0.6

The discount map is now community powered! • Add to the Map: Know a local military discount or free resource we're missing? Put it on the map in a few taps and it goes live for the whole community. • National Chains: Chain discounts have a new home. Browse brands on the Map or in Recon, then see every location near you. • Confirm Deals: Used a deal? Tap "I got this discount" to keep the map verified and trusted for fellow members. • Online & Local Deals: New in Recon. Military discounts from online shops and mobile services, with clear labels when an offer is tied to a specific area. Plus redesigned location cards, a refreshed look, and plenty of polish under the hood.

  • 1.0.7

Map improvements • When you add a place, we now search the area you're actually looking at, instead of wherever your phone last had a signal. Much better when you're travelling or scouting a new duty station. • After you add a place, the map takes you straight to it. • Clearer wording on national brands and community-reported discounts. Polish • Readability and wording improvements throughout the app. Behind the scenes • Groundwork for in-app announcements, so we can tell you about new features as they land.

  • 1.0.8 · 4 Aug 2026

Faster Face ID sign-in. Signing in with Face ID now takes a single scan instead of two. If you've been getting prompted twice every time you opened the app, that's fixed. Thanks to everyone who wrote in about this — those reports are what tracked it down.
