Well… that happened to us too. Our app got a little bloated, so we’ve been trimming down and doing whatever the software version of burpees is. This means a faster and more stable mileage tracking experience for you. Friendly reminder: If you haven't filed taxes yet, it's showtime. This 4th of July, we’re declaring freedom from paper mileage logs and cluttered folders of receipts. We're celebrating our independence from bugs and crashes. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all drivers deserve smooth, effortless mileage tracking and with this update, that’s exactly what you’ll get. Enjoy!

If you like filling out paper mileage logs by hand and not automating tedious tasks, this update isn’t for you… because we’ve made detection and logging even more precise. If you enjoyed setting the same tag for every trip or expense one by one instead of selecting them all and tagging in bulk… well, you can still do that. But now you can also add tags in bulk. If you like finding bugs? Go outside, because you’re going to find fewer here in 5.3.6. Happy driving!

In 5.3.9 we did some fall cleaning. Yep, fall cleaning. We’re not a once-a-year app, we’re proactive. You don’t become the top-rated mileage tracker by waiting until spring to sweep up bugs. So we fixed some bugs and cleared a few crashes. We also beefed up passwords to make the app even more secure. Sorry in advance, but 1234 isn't going to fly anymore. Engineering also informed us, for some reason, that #1MILEAGEFAN also isn't secure. I don't know why they told us that... We recommend updating to the latest version, especially with iOS 26 coming out! Happy tracking

Version 5.4.0 brings improved stability (smoother drives, fewer bumps) and new personalization touches that make Everlance feel more like yours. In 5.4.1, we made some updates to prepare for tax season 2026. Yup. Tax season, 2026. Kinda crazy right?...but it's Q4..and not only is it Q4..but it's already half way through October. Meaning tax season is almost here. So we're preparing for you to prepare. If you didn't track your miles and expenses throughout the year, check out our deduction finder..it's pretty great, and can scan your expenses over the last 12 months looking for deductions. and if you like how we're doing, leave us a review! The end of the year is calling. Those last few deductible miles, the final expenses you can write off. We’re releasing 5.4.2 to help make all of that as smooth as possible. In this version, you'll notice you can batch trips and remove them directly from reports. You'll also notice we cleaned up a few bugs & tuned up a few areas for speed. Your miles are smoother, your expenses are faster, and your taxes are slightly less terrifying. Time to close out the year strong!

What keeps us up at night? The idea that people are missing trips and mileage by tracking the old ways. So picture this: You're on the basic plan, you're driving along and you hit your 30 trip limit. What happens? Before Everlance version 5.4.3...you either A. switch to manual tracking (which is always free and unlimited) B. upgrade for unlimited automatic tracking or C. Stop tracking until next month. Those options still exist, but making that call mid drive is not ideal, and missed mileage should never be on the table. Starting in version 5.4.3, Everlance keeps logging for basic users beyond 30 trips. Extra trips are automatically saved and unlockable, so there is no gap in your mileage log and no pressure to decide at that very moment.

It's here. Tax season. You tracked your miles & expenses all last year and now it's time to claim those savings. In 5.4.4, we've made some tweaks under the hood to keep things running faster, smoother, and provide the best mileage tracking experience possible.

If you like saving money on taxes, 5.4.5 is a critical update for you. If you don't...well...we still recommend updating for the latest and greatest mileage tracking and tax saving technology.

We fixed a lot of bugs that if we tried to explain, wouldn't really make a whole lot of sense, but they make the app run a lot better, so that's a good thing and you should update. Less than a month until tax day!

Home is where the heart is, so home should be where the accurate mileage totals are too. Some users were experiencing a bug where a different number of miles would show on the home screen vs. the trips screen, so we fixed that. We also fixed some under the hood bugs to make the reports experience smoother. Summertime. Beach days, nights by the fire, and (unfortunately) some pesky bugs. We're bringing the bug spray with 5.4.8. This update fixes issues with adding expense categories, clears out a phantom deduction that kept showing up on $0 trips, and corrects an incorrect year reference on the Taxes screen. Yes, we noticed that one too. Happy logging!
