  1. 5/5The Everlance App is a must have for anyone travelin for work and wanting to keep track of expenses!

Everlance has truly transformed the way I manage my finances and track my expenses. As someone who often finds themselves juggling income and expenses, this app has been a game changer for me. The automatic mileage tracking feature is incredibly convenient; it uses GPS to log my trips without me having to lift a finger. This has saved me countless hours of manual entry, and I no longer have to worry about forgetting to log a trip. The expense tracking is another standout feature. Everlance allows me to easily categorize my expenses by simply uploading receipts or linking my bank accounts. This has streamlined my budgeting process significantly. The intuitive interface makes it easy to see where my money is going, which helps me make informed financial decisions. Overall, Everlance has made my life so much easier by simplifying the often tedious task of expense tracking and mileage logging. It’s a reliable tool that helps me stay organized and focused on my financial goals, allowing me to spend more time on what truly matters. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to simplify their financial management!

  2. 4/5Good, BUT could be The Best

For those times when you forget to end a trip after your commute to your first job, and then continue to drive racking up the miles, there’s no option to move the start pin to a new start point without losing the details of the remainder of the trip. The same holds true for the return to home commute where I forgotten to end a trip after my last job and continue home. I should be able to move that end point Pin to my last job’s drop off location. To create a quick commute trip from that point to home would be simple but to re-create the entire trip without the commute could take quite a bit of time. I consider this to be a pretty major flaw/shortcoming and it should be addressed ASAP with an update. In my unclassified trip listing I have so many trips like this that it clutters my unclassified trip view. My options are to write them off as worthless or go back in to each trip and re-create them without the commute portion. Unfortunately, the trips I’m referring to are usually long 50+ miles trips with multiple locations and for tax purposes I would like to use the miles, but I don’t have time to go back into multiple apps to verify sometimes vague location information. Also, there are some trips that I just let go by as work trips because it’s just a few miles of commute and many miles of work when I should have gone back and re-created them without the commute portion. This presents a risk to me and I’m not comfortable with that when the correction could be easily taken care of with a movement of a start or end pin. Please address this as I’m sure I am not alone in this thinking.

  3. 5/5I’m diggin this app!

I haven’t ever really kept up with my mileage probably the real way I was suppose to but I logged it anyways, just in case! I became an independent contractor with a company that provided Everlance to keep up with the miles for me. Didn’t think I’d really remember to turn Everlance on to track my mileage until I found the automatic trip detection. I do sometimes get frustrated because it WILL track your every mile & you then have to classify the unclassified & it piles up at times, but that’s my own fault 😉 I have since become a premium membership holder & this app is amazing! I don’t really know a whole lot about keeping records when your an independent contractor, so to speak, but I’m really diggin this app because it does so much for you! I’m not one to trust just any “let it do it all for you”! I’ll give it a try & if something doesn’t feel right, I’m out & quick. Been burned to many times BUT I’m really loving the Everlance App. You just plug in your numbers & your set, ready & go 😉It’s really a user friendly app for sure! It remains to be unseen as of now but I will see how much I’m diggin it come tax time 😁

  4. 2/5Design flaw or intensional

You are not able to manually start and stop a trip for recording your mileage using this app. When you leave your location on a business trip and the entire trip needs to be logged for business, this app will automatically end the trip and start a new one when you have stopped for 10 minutes or longer. So pitstop for fuel, restroom and food, oops sorry, new trip. In my case when using the “free app” for 30 trips, (NOT) one 8 hour trip and return home consumed the entire free 30 trip per month allotment. For example, once I arrived at my destination I went to the store a mile down the street from my hotel and that was one trip because I left my location. Because I stopped and was in the store 15 minutes, returned to my hotel, that was a trip. Do not think you will be able to use this app for free, they have designed it to automatically burn through your 30 free trips quickly so you will have to make a $60 - $96 purchase this app from them. This problem could be fixed with allowing to manually start and stop trips and override the automatic start stop feature which is hugely annoying. This app does not do a good job explaining this auto start / stop feature on purpose and for good reason, I would not have downloaded this for even the “free version” had this been disclosed.

  5. 1/5App has downhill

I have used Everlance every day for 6 years and have been relatively happy with it. Today, however, I woke up and found the app completely changed to the point of being unrecognizable from the version I used the day before. I now have to log in every time I open app and have had to change password every time. It no longer automatically records trips and I cannot figure how to change it. My trips would automatically classify as business and then I could easily change each individual trip purpose by scrolling through trips, identifying by the map, and the swiping left to change to personal as needed. Nice and easy, but it now longer allows this . You now now have to go into each trip, click on map icon to identify it, click on change purpose, and then click again on the specific purpose I want it changed to. These are extra steps that add time. I used to go through a week’s worth’s of trips and change them as needed in about 30-40 seconds on my dash mounted iPhone. Not only does this take more time, but the app screen is so small now, I can’t read it from my dash mount and have to hold it close to make any adjustments, not a good idea while driving. The list goes on and on. Whoever is responsible for this disaster should be fired. They took a good app and rendered it useless. Look elsewhere.

Tax Filing is Now Open Did you know you can file your taxes now directly in the Everlance app. Oh, and we offer $1M in Audit Protection for all Professional Plan customers. Also, we continue to make app improvement and fix bugs with every release. We would love to hear from you so drop us a review if you could. Happy Driving!

  • 5.2.6

This year 5.2.6 is our valentine. We dressed up nice, lit some candles, fired up the oven, and baked up improvements to the tax filing experience. These improvements make it even easier to file your taxes right within the app. How romantic. We also cleaned up some bugs on the backend, making this version our smoothest and fastest release yet. Bugs are not romantic. We want love in the air, not bugs in the air. XOXO

  • 5.2.7

Got lightning-fast thumbs? We see you. We hear you. And now, we’ve fixed a bug just for you. Some of our trip-swiping Olympians noticed that if they swiped too fast, the trip would animate a second time. A simple interface glitch, but one that deserved a fix, so we did that. There are also some under-the-hood improvements here that you may not see. We've optimized performance across the board, making everything faster, more responsive, and refining the magic that goes into automatically tracking your mileage...(by magic, we mean 10+ years of continuous iteration and optimization.) Happy tracking, happy tax season..and if you haven't checked out our in-app filing experience yet, give it a look!

  • 5.3.0

It happens to the best of us. It’s the middle of winter, you say “You know what? I can have a second helping” or “hey, an extra sweet treat never hurt anyone” and then bam..all of a sudden it’s weeks away from beach season and you’re scrambling to get in shape. Well… that happened to us too. Our app got a little bloated, so we’ve been trimming down and doing whatever the software version of burpees is. This means a faster and more stable mileage tracking experience for you. Friendly reminder: If you haven't filed taxes yet, it's showtime. You can now file your taxes directly from within the app. Enjoy the fastest, most lightweight version of Everlance yet.

  • 5.3.1

This one’s a tune-up. Faster trips. Smoother screens. Happier app. You keep driving, we’ll keep making things better.

  • 5.3.2

This one’s a tune-up. Faster trips. Smoother screens. Happier app. You keep driving, we’ll keep making things better.

  • 5.3.3

Bugs? Meet windshield. Version 5.3.3 squashes a few backend bugs affecting a small number of users. No guts left behind; just a smoother, more reliable experience from your favorite mileage tracker. Speaking of favorites: if you have a minute, we’d love a quick review. It helps our team (and other drivers) know we’re on the right road!

  • 5.3.4

We’re wrapping up our spring cleaning with 5.3.4. This update fixes a few crashes you probably didn’t notice, but definitely won’t now. A smoother, more reliable mileage tracking experience awaits. Here's to keeping your eyes on the stars and your feet(or wheels) on the ground

  • 5.3.5

This 4th of July, we’re declaring freedom from paper mileage logs and cluttered folders of receipts. We're celebrating our independence from bugs and crashes. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all drivers deserve smooth, effortless mileage tracking and with this update, that’s exactly what you’ll get. Enjoy!

  • 5.3.6

If you like filling out paper mileage logs by hand and not automating tedious tasks, this update isn’t for you… because we’ve made detection and logging even more precise. If you enjoyed setting the same tag for every trip or expense one by one instead of selecting them all and tagging in bulk… well, you can still do that. But now you can also add tags in bulk. If you like finding bugs? Go outside, because you’re going to find fewer here in 5.3.6. Happy driving!

  • 5.3.7

No new features in this update, but we paved some proverbial potholes, making your mileage tracker operate smoother and easier to use. We recommend updating, unless you like potholes...then I'm afraid to share that these aren't actual potholes we create in the road, they're just app bugs that we fixed. We're a mileage tracker app, and it's a road pun.

  • 5.3.8

  • 5.3.9

In 5.3.9 we did some fall cleaning. Yep, fall cleaning. We’re not a once-a-year app, we’re proactive. You don’t become the top-rated mileage tracker by waiting until spring to sweep up bugs. So we fixed some bugs and cleared a few crashes. We also beefed up passwords to make the app even more secure. Sorry in advance, but 1234 isn't going to fly anymore. Engineering also informed us, for some reason, that #1MILEAGEFAN also isn't secure. I don't know why they told us that... We recommend updating to the latest version, especially with iOS 26 coming out! Happy tracking

  • 5.4.0

We’ve officially run out of “under the hood” jokes, so let’s just call this what it is: a crucial update. Version 5.4.0 brings improved stability (smoother drives, fewer bumps) and new personalization touches that make Everlance feel more like yours. Update and leave a review to let us know how we're doing!

  • 5.4.1

In 5.4.1, we made some updates to prepare for tax season 2026. Yup. Tax season, 2026. Kinda crazy right?...but it's Q4..and not only is it Q4..but it's already half way through October. Meaning tax season is almost here. So we're preparing for you to prepare. If you didn't track your miles and expenses throughout the year, check out our deduction finder..it's pretty great, and can scan your expenses over the last 12 months looking for deductions. and if you like how we're doing, leave us a review! Cheers!

  • 5.4.2

The end of the year is calling. Those last few deductible miles, the final expenses you can write off. We’re releasing 5.4.2 to help make all of that as smooth as possible. In this version, you'll notice you can batch trips and remove them directly from reports. You'll also notice we cleaned up a few bugs & tuned up a few areas for speed. Your miles are smoother, your expenses are faster, and your taxes are slightly less terrifying. Time to close out the year strong!

  • 5.4.3

What keeps us up at night? The idea that people are missing trips and mileage by tracking the old ways. So picture this: You're on the basic plan, you're driving along and you hit your 30 trip limit. What happens? Before Everlance version 5.4.3...you either A. switch to manual tracking (which is always free and unlimited) B. upgrade for unlimited automatic tracking or C. Stop tracking until next month. Those options still exist, but making that call mid drive is not ideal, and missed mileage should never be on the table. Starting in version 5.4.3, Everlance keeps logging for basic users beyond 30 trips. Extra trips are automatically saved and unlockable, so there is no gap in your mileage log and no pressure to decide at that very moment.

  • 5.4.4

It's here. Tax season. You tracked your miles & expenses all last year and now it's time to claim those savings. In 5.4.4, we've made some tweaks under the hood to keep things running faster, smoother, and provide the best mileage tracking experience possible.

  • 5.4.5

If you like saving money on taxes, 5.4.5 is a critical update for you. If you don't...well...we still recommend updating for the latest and greatest mileage tracking and tax saving technology.

  • 5.4.6

We fixed a lot of bugs that if we tried to explain, wouldn't really make a whole lot of sense, but they make the app run a lot better, so that's a good thing and you should update. Less than a month until tax day!

  • 5.4.7

Home is where the heart is, so home should be where the accurate mileage totals are too. Some users were experiencing a bug where a different number of miles would show on the home screen vs. the trips screen, so we fixed that. We also fixed some under the hood bugs to make the reports experience smoother. While you're here, if you're loving the Everlance experience, leave a quick review and let us know all about your mileage tracking experience!

  • 5.4.8

Summertime. Beach days, nights by the fire, and (unfortunately) some pesky bugs. We're bringing the bug spray with 5.4.8. This update fixes issues with adding expense categories, clears out a phantom deduction that kept showing up on $0 trips, and corrects an incorrect year reference on the Taxes screen. Yes, we noticed that one too. Happy logging!

  • 5.4.9 · 13 Jul 2026

It's hot out there. We're not only sweating in the car but we're sweating the small stuff too. 5.4.9 is all under-the-hood fixes to keep things running smoothly while you're out there logging miles in the summer heat(remember to drink some water!)

  • 5.5.0

Sunscreen? Check. Cold drink? Check. App running smoother than ever? That's on us. Version 5.5.0 brings a fresh batch of behind-the-scenes fixes so you can spend less time thinking about the app and more time enjoying summer. We recommend updating for the smoothest version possible. While you're here, leave us a review! Good, bad, or ugly, we want to hear about your Everlance experience.

  • 5.5.1 · 11 Aug 2026

Meet Fin, your new in-app assistant. Got a question or hit a snag? Fin answers common questions and helps troubleshoot issues in seconds, so you can get back to logging miles faster. Version 5.5.1 puts help right at your fingertips.
