  1. 4/5It does what it says… but ForeFlight can do the same thing

If you have ForeFlight don’t get this because all the complications you add to the watch face are the same; however, if you do not have ForeFlight then this app would be a good way to quickly get the weather at the flick of your wrist.

  2. 5/5Synced METAR on my Wrist. Cheaper than ForeFlight, Worth the Subscription!

I’ve been using METAR Pilot for a solid few weeks now. I can say that I use it everyday I fly, in my case about 4-5 days a week. While I still do check the ATIS via radio, this app allows me to make quick go-no go decisions with the flick of the wrist. I love the wind direction and best runway feature as it helps me gain a big-picture scenario of my day before I start my preflight. Also love how you can customize the layout of what info you want to see on the watch face. Although, my home airport doesn’t have a D-ATIS available, it is nice to see it for other Charlie’s and Bravo’s in the area. Good feature if you fly thru those airspace’s for sure. I was having issues initially with my app/watch and the customer & tech support was very quick to respond and helpful to get me off the ground(no pun intended lol). It shows they care deeply about their product and contributing to the aviation community. For those who complain about the subscription… the annual fee for this app is cheaper than one month of ForeFlight. I run both apps I have zero complaints about paying for METAR Pilot. The developers put in the time to create this app. If you’re looking for a freebie, then perhaps you should just consult AWC… iykyk.

  3. 5/5Handy pilot’s app for weather forecasts.

I'm a student pilot. Been using this for a few weeks now and it's become part of my preflight routine. The complications are super handy - I can check conditions at my home airport right from my Apple Watch, kinda cool. No need pulling out my phone. Search works well (tested), data updates quickly, and the flight category colors make it easy to see conditions. Simple and clean and just works! Worth the premium if you fly regularly. I just subscribed for monthly subscription.

  4. 2/5Won’t get far without paying

Great looking app but there’s no way to try it without paying to use it. A limited free version would be helpful. Steep price for what it is.

  5. 5/5Helpful app, worth the subscription

Finally found a nice looking app with all the raw metar information just consistently updating. p.s. the runway selector is really helpful!
