This app is so horrible they allow people who are Asian or any race day racial slurs they allow scammers on here they allow perverts on here if you try to report them they only let you report you and then they’ll ban you even if you follow their rules they still ban you they litterally banned me for no reason I followed all their rules and I reported the people who are scammers they do nothing you have better luck on other apps then in here most these people are fake people and most them are just who they are if I could this app 0 stars I would most of these guys are on here are actual creeps and like people underage or if your in 20s most of them will be disrespectful to you do you don’t give them what they want the app will stay let them stay you pay the price listen to people who are below five stars this app should be shut down they are wrong they don’t care for people who are real they don’t have where they have verification to tell you if the person is real or not most of these people aren’t real if you find a real person good luck to you but it’s so hard to find people who are real on there when 100% of them are scammers and fake profiles and using people who’s re famous pictures and will lie to you or ask you to be there sugar baby who where design this app this app shouldn’t on here anymore I don’t know how it got pass to be on the App Store because it’s horrible app regardless

2/5Know What To Expect
The idea behind Meeff is great, but like any app whose premise is to help people make online connections, there are always bad actors who use it to scam or solicit inappropriate material. The Meeff Team could be more aggressive in their moderation. I have reported the same people multiple times for inappropriate photos, but it seems that unless the photo in question is their first photo, their accounts are never deactivated. Bad actors hide behind that loophole: their first photo is fine and then every subsequent photo is sexually explicit. I don’t know what criteria the Meeff Team uses to determine what inappropriate introductions are, but there are hundreds of accounts whose profiles state they are perverts looking to sell or exchange sexual content. These accounts never seem to get deactivated upon reporting them. It would be nice if the Meeff Team took the reporting of these individuals more seriously and also implemented some sort of account verification function on the app to help deter some of this behavior.

1/5Even one star is far too generous for this trash heap of an App
From the psychopaths who have relentlessly harassed me for sexual solicitation to my personal financial information that pertains to my livelihood. This app is heading into dire straits for more reasons than I care to explain. I’ve reported many scammers, cat fishers and predators who use this platform to victimize and target specific demographics when the basis of this app was supposed to be for language exchange friends. It’s worse than Tinder and that’s putting it nicely. I don’t feel safe and there is no option to block a person unless you delete your account entirely. Which is a huge concern as to how the heck it even got approved to be uploaded for purchase in the AppStore. It’s been five years since I’ve started using this forsaken app and it’s only gotten worse with time. Either the devs step up and insure the safety of its female accounts or things get could get seriously out of control for a number of reasons. Btw, I haven’t found a single language partner without being sexually harassed for nudes to be sold or other cornered into some one-sided relationship through messaging. Update and expand your options to deter specific ‘characters’ from continuing their rampaging and thirst-trapping. There needs to be a large team of admins for each region, more options to report different issues and have them actively investigated and so forth. Because the behavior of many of the male users has gotten far too out-of-hand and I hate to see what was a generally decent app in the beginning look a like trash compactor… With Great Concern, -ShinkaiMight

If I could give 0 stars I would. This app needs to do a better job of screening users. Most of the users are using screenshots not actual photos, or AI generated photos. I wound up deleting my account after a week because I kept getting frightening people wanting to match with me. Their profiles literally saying if we match and I don’t obey they will unalive or SA me, or they ask for video or phone s**. All i wanted was language exchange friends but this is not worth the time or effort you need to put in to vet the users on here. I had used this app 5 years ago when I was learning Korean and made two life long friends from there. Now I’m learning Chinese and Japanese and thought I could try looking for language exchange buddies again but nope, not with this app. It has gone downhill since I last used it… I’m so disgusted. If you want to make friends, try Bumble; at least they require you upload an ID to cross reference any verify users. Plus you can choose dating, friendships or network filters whereas with this app you don’t have that option.

First of all, there are NUMEROUS fakes and scammers trying to get your money/photos. It feels like every other person is pretending to be someone else. Secondly, there are ads after every seven (yes, I counted) people you like or don’t like. Thirdly, it is impossible to delete my account. I have followed all the steps many times to delete my account, but there is always an “internal service error” preventing me from deleting my account. I sent the MEEFF team an email explaining the issue. They told me to check my connection and GPS. Everything good there, but my account still couldn’t be deleted. They sent me a link to delete my account, so I tried deleting it that way, but whenever I try to delete my account and consent to having it deleted and my data removed, it logs me out of my account and says my session has expired. They need major, major software updates that solve these problems. All in all, save your time and DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP.
