  1. 5/5i have OCD, anxiety, and panic attacks. This app helps me combat them

I’ve always heard people say that meditating will help with the way that you feel and I just never got around to doing it. I looked online and did some research to find an app that does not require a subscription. Multiple places said this was the app and they did not disappoint. All it takes is a leap of faith and truly giving it your all. I was going to have a panic attack when I downloaded this app and tried the very first three minute daily meditation. I was sitting in my bathroom right at the edge of a panic attack and after the three minute session, my panic was gone and I felt relaxed. It’s hard to explain to someone the mental struggle you go through of anxiety, OCD, and panic attacks. On the outside it seems like everything is normal to other people like there’s nothing wrong and it seems like it would be obvious that nothing is truly wrong. But on the inside you’re struggling. Getting tunnel vision and feeling like you’re gonna die. This app has helped me daily and I’m forever thankful. The more you meditate the more it becomes a mental habit and the more it builds up the chemicals inside of you that help you calm yourself and combat the feelings that you have. I will always support this app and recommend it to anyone who needs help.

  2. 5/5Best Meditation Service

no payment, no account, no tracking and logging, no advertisements or sharing on social media pop ups. it’s the best and it’s everything that everything else should be. meditation should be free out of all of the things in the world. do you know how much profit Calm and Headspace make? insane amounts. mindfulness has helped me in so many ways. i sleep better, i eat better, i am much more aware of my thoughts and actions. i am less judgmental to myself and others. i am more compassionate. do not be afraid that you will “do meditation wrong”, as that is not the point. you cannot do it wrong if you are trying to do it. if you are trying then you are doing it perfectly. i greatly encourage you to try this app over any other meditation app, as it guides the lines of morality in our for profit world. thank you, medito, and i will try to convince everyone i know to get this app. i’ve already got my mom to download it and do meditation again after years of being anxious about it. truly, i hope medito lasts forever, and i hope everyone who can donate does.

  3. 5/5This App is Amazing!!

I stumbled across this app when I was looking for a meditation app. I have been really stressed lately and we have been studying mental health and meditation in school, so I really wanted to see if meditation could actually help me. The problem was, literally every single other app either cost money to initially buy the app, or it was free and then had a subscription. I was scrolling through a Reddit chain that was about meditation apps, and I downloaded and tried out about 10 different apps, all of which had a subscription to unlock the whole app. When I read the description for this app, I was skeptical to say the least. I was shocked when I opened the app and saw that everything was available to me. This is the perfect meditation app, with everything you need for things such as stress, anxiety, pandemic stress, sleep, and even a section for beginners. I have only used these meditations for a few days, but they are amazing, I highly recommend this app to everyone.

  4. 5/5Paving the way for digital mental health care access

Medito is paving the way for digital mental health care access. Even though I’m new to meditation (or rather, new to fully committing to building a daily habit of it), I am 100% on board with their mission to provide this resource for free with no strings attached. The app is bare-bones in the best possible way, the step-by-step introduction system is effective, and your sessions won’t be cut short because you don’t have a premium subscription. To all the volunteers who built and maintain this platform: THANK YOU! Your dedication and commitment to filling a massive gap in the market without profit as a motivator might just be more inspiring than the meditations themselves. You actually care about the people using Medito— not what people can afford to spend on their basic wellness necessities. Keep up the great work.

  5. 1/5Amazing App, but the new UI update RUINED IT

Hey there, I’ve been using medito for over a year now and I must say that it was the greatest meditation app I’ve ever used. The simple, seamless design was the selling point for me. But ever since the october UI update, it felt like the developers wanted to ruin the experience for anyone who uses their app offline. I can’t even access the app now without an internet connection, which is a very annoying hurdle to overcome since connection in my area isn’t the greatest thing, so I have to download my meditation sessions beforehand and listen to them when I wake up in the morning. When I use the app without an internet connection, it neither saves my streak nor adds the minutes I meditated to my total count. I also have many friends who use medito as well and we all collectively agree that the old UI was miles better than this one. I hope the developers can read this review and fix this issue because I really love medito and the whole team behind it. For now, I’ll be moving to a different app which supports offline use better.
