5/5Passed
I started to use this app about a week left of my EMT Course, then I used it on and off for about a month after my EMT Course. I started picking up using the app more and more closer to my exam date. I was told to “Only use one studying program.” I attempted to use multiple resources to study and my confidence plummeted. I chose to stick strictly with Medic Tests a week and a half before my final. I took my registry. Went to 117 questions and passed. Medic Tests definitely helped me pass. It’s very simple and has peer reviewed content that keeps its system accountable. I was not at all 100% confident going into my test, but from using Medic Tests it helped me really understand and retain my EMT Course knowledge. I do wish it was a bit cheaper, but it’s definitely a “pay to play” scenario and you get your moneys worth! Thank you Medic Tests!

5/5READ BEFORE BUYING: BEST APP FOR NREMT
So I want to say I’m usually skeptical about apps claiming to have this and that and high passing rates blah blah blah. But MedicTests is different. I heard about it through my local Fire Department and thought it would be worth a try. It is significantly more expensive than the app I was using to prepare for my NREMT prior. But it is worth every penny. They do offer a full refund if you do not pass your NREMT. The questions are very similar to the NREMT. The app helps you identify and strengthen your weaknesses. It also keeps you engaged by having information as to why you got a question wrong. Additionally it has daily XP goals to help you feel like you’re actually doing something compared to just mindlessly answering questions and badges for this and that. I downloaded this app a week before my NREMT test date. I saw it had a NREMT simulator and decided to try it. The actual test, the NREMT, is significantly easier than what you are taught and tested through in your EMT class. And the format of questions is very similar to the actual test. I highly recommend that you try this app. I passed NREMT first try. My only wish is that this app had a “Question of the Day” like EMSPrep does. It just kept me coming back and I think this app could benefit from one. 5/5 Stars.

4/5Good but limited content
Updated: I passed my rentry test after studying with this app, Pocket Prep, and Kaplan for only 5 days after not having thought about EMT standards for 20 years (when I first took the cognitive exam). I did ~3500 questions on this app in the five days. For what it’s worth, I am a WFR instructor but the standards are somewhat different. The repeated questions were still annoying and I think I would have gotten more out of the app if I didn’t see the same easy questions over and over. I switched to Pocket Prep for the last 24 hours because of this issue. Original: The written instructional sections are easy to read and informative. The questions are useful, but are repeated so often that I wonder if I’m learning the content or just the question itself. I would I estimate I have answered a couple questions (correctly) close to 20 times. The same questions reappear in the content sections, the building strength tests, the weaknesses tests, and the NREMT simulator.

5/5Very helpful.
I’ve used medic test for 3 days and so far I’ve learned a lot more and can remember more using this then other apps that I’ve tried. It’s easy to navigate, keeps great track of progress and literally gives you an option to work on weaknesses and pulls from categories that you struggle in instead of just a bunch of random questions. And the daily XP gain that you try to aim for helps out a lot on keeping track on a goal. It works well with me because I treat it like a video game and I aim to make a high score on every test I take. Even the focus on weakness tests. I would highly recommend to try it out at least for a week to see if it also improves you test taking skills and knowledge like it has for me, and I’ve only used it for 3 days! Also the price for each membership plan is fair and reasonable.

5/5Don’t think twice just download it
Was suggested to me from a coworker who when through a cohort before me. I started using medic tests four months before my scheduled test, I studied with the app using their chapters then taking tests, I utilized the work on weaknesses and study suggestions, I spent two hours a day every day and did almost 20k in practice questions. My class was one of the first to take the new national so I used the call simulators in medic tests and it was almost the exact same as I saw on the national. How medic tests broke down the information and explained how to answer the questions prepared me for the test and I passed it on my first attempt. I’m forever grateful for my coworkers advice and for medic tests providing such a valuable tool for people looking to certify. Thank you for everything and good work on this application.
