   We cannot express to you the level of gratitude we feel for those beautiful, faithful people who produce the Magnificat day in and day out. It has changed our lives and made us much more robust members of our Catholic faith and made us much better people, in general. Through the Magnificat we have learned the truth and beauty of our faith. The depth and beauty of this publication has lead us to be consistent, humble, loving advocates of Our Church to people in our church and community. Every morning we fall in love with Our Lord Jesus Christ more and more as the beautiful words pour off our electronic device. We marvel at the library of meditations from the multitude of leaders in Our Church. The amazing artwork and analysis of, draws us in to a closer relationship with Jesus, Mary, Joseph and all the Saints. You, the creative producers of the Magnificat are making a significant difference in the battle to defeat the evil one. Thank you and may God Our Savior abundantly bless you all and yours forever. 2. 1/5What happening to to this App?

   Hello, I have been using this Magnificat’s App since the inception of this App 2014. We enjoyed this app very much and used it every single day. And I paid the annual subscription for it. But recently, the last couple of months, this app started to act very strange. The app certainly for no reason goes to the ‘Downloading your Magnificat, please wait…’. OK, no problem, we wait for it. So, this happened at least once a week. Then more often, then lately came with ‘Error loading.’ Then, we tried to quit the App, that works couple times. Then I restarted the phone, works couple times. Now tonight, I restarted the phone, and deleted the app off the phone, and reinstalled the app, it still doesn’t download the content. Then for a moment later, I thought I can use it on my iPad, then the iPad started to have the same problem! And this whole thing never happened to my iPad, I suspect it when after I deleted off my phone, then my iPad is infected with the same problem. Every time I launch the app, I got the grey screen saying “Downloading your Magnificat, please wait…”. 1 second later turned to “Error loading. Touch to retry.” I tried it more 50 times, results were the same. We updated the phone and the iPad with the latest App. Please fix it. Thank you!

3. 4/5Good Publication - Bad App

   After three days of not being able to use it, the app seems to be back on track. September 2022 I routinely have problems with the app not recognizing my subscription. This happens every few months and I have to sign out and sign in a couple of times to fix it. Ugh! But do-able. Now, however, that won’t work. Instead, I get a cannot load message. I see by looking at other reviews that the developer recommended going to Settings — Status of Memory. This has not helped either. If this problem gets fixed, I will update my review. Currently, though, I can’t access my paid subscription. Other than the fact that I can’t read it this month, it’s a great prayer aid.

4. 5/5New version is big improvement

   The new version is a big update and works more smoothly on the current iOS. My favorite improvements are the ability to increase the font size and the way this version shows off the beautiful Magnificat magazine cover when you open the app. Just tap on the small part of the cover image and it increases to full screen. Two of the best things about Magnificat have always been the beautiful cover and the daily meditations. (Otherwise the full version of Universalis would be an alternative to Magnificat, but it lacks these features.) I do wish this Magnificat app made the articles more visible- they are buried as one of a zillion things under "Other Features". Ah well, nothing compares to the print version.

5. 5/5Forever downloads

   We really have enjoyed this for a year or two but since the upgrade we can't get it because the operating system we have is 9 something . We ask to download an older version that is compatible an it promptly gives notice that it is downloading, please wait. And we wait, and we wait, and we wait. It never stops. HELP I can get it at Magnificat online. Com,and the new scroll format is great, and it appears that is what this app might show. But we are still stuck with forever downloading. Except now it stops, says error downloading, touch to retry. Retried seven times, no luck, it would be nice to get it again on the iPad. HELP Thank you for solving the problem! The new format is great! Five stars now that we can use it again!
