1. 5/5Best app for skincare on the market now

   The app is well put together with simple, consistent, video based guides. It will combine various routines into an easy to follow story for target area work. I really like the seamless and detailed point system so you can benchmark your progress; they let you know the average amount of points most users track before reporting results and offer a thorough diary. Other nice features include skincare education, product and nutrition guides/plans. There is a thoughtful, inclusive design scheme throughout the experience. The yoga really does stimulate the areas they’ve created guides for and has been a very relaxing, positive experience. I have tried a few other apps that really are just a shell to sell products for participating beauty brands. This app is brand agnostic with good information about what kinds of products to use combined with quality health information. I think this has a lot of potential to actually meet its advertised purpose as well as evolve with a supportive community and good product team. Well done!

2. 3/5Charged me without consent

   UPDATE: leaving a review here seems to be the hack in getting refunded. They finally honored my request after numerous attempts of correspondence, but it wasn’t until I posted here that the issue was escalated to the right person. Grateful. This is a bummer because I actually like the app, but the company does not seem to be trustworthy. When I initially signed up, I had approved the purchase of subscribing for one month. Then, the website offers all theseu add-ons, one of which I was interested in. I intentionally declined the offer for a 1:1 coach because that’s not what I was looking for, and also the price seemed steep. I declined the offer. But then the website repeats the offer asking “are you sure?” as I clicked “yes I’m sure”, it thought I meant “yes I want this purchase.” Immediately, the charge went through! There was no secondary confirmation! They took my money without my consent, and when I asked them to please refund me for the error on their site, they pointed to a no refund policy! This is so shady! After countless attempts to get my issue resolved with their support team, the best they could offer me was 30% off! I keep explaining to them that they charged me for a service I never wanted and will never use. I would have been inspired to continue my subscription ongoing because I think the app is actually great. Unfortunately, they burned me by duping me into this personal coach purchase. Their absence of accountability indicates that this duplicitous mess was deliberate.

   I am enjoying the exercise! I did one and then went on to do 3 more because it felt so good. I am surprised how good my face feels. I am a cosmetologist and have had my fare share of facials but in the 15min that I took to do these exercises my face feels more then just getting a rub down with good product. It feels like I actually did something for my face to improve the skin, muscles, and tension. I am truly impressed and excited to keep going. My only complaint and why I gave it 4 stars is during the purchase process, after I had already picked my plan, they had add-ons that I thought were already included with what I had bought. Then it took me to a page that said buy the year for over a $100. There was not exit from the page and when I tried to hit continue to see if that would get me out it tried to run my card again. Thankfully my bank wouldn’t let it go through because I had just purchased from the same company but I would have been really upset if it had gone through. I just didn’t like the read the fine print, try to catch you in a snare at the end. I was already interested and that almost made me want to back out. I am glad the experience was so good with the exercises.

4. 1/5DO NOT subscribe to Luvly!!

   I signed up for a short period to try the app and it was fine, but not great, so I cancelled, never resubscibed, and my course expired (which makes the app just basically an advertisement—there is no available content to review/access). And I figured, “no harm, it was worth a try” 🤷🏻‍♀️ UNTIL weeks later an unauthorized additional charge showed up on my cc bill. I contacted Luvly via their contact form asking for cancellation (again, as I’d already cancelled) and refund. I received no response from Luvly, so I opened a case with my credit card company to dispute this charge. Then (months later) today I picked up my locked phone to send a text message, put my finger on the button to unlock my phone—note that I have not used or opened this app in MONTHS, have cancelled via my iPhone subscriptions AND contacting the company (ignored by them but still…)—and by using my fingerprint to unlock my phone this scam-posing-as-an-app “confirmed my 6 month subscription” 🤯🤬. They put a pop-up on a locked phone so you “accept” a subscription by OPENING YOUR PHONE??!!! I immediately (within 3 seconds) went to the iPhone settings for subscriptions and cancelled but it had already established a 6 month activation. The only reason I had this app still on my phone (totally unused for months) was that I’m still awaiting confirmation their LAST unauthorized “subscription” charge was removed as a result of my credit card company’s dispute process before I lost any historical data I’d need for the dispute. **LUVLY IS A SCAM. Run, don’t walk away from this app!!!***

5. 5/5Excellent instructions

   I have only been using Luvly for two days so I don’t see results yet but after today’s exercises, I can definitely feel that I have worked the muscles in my face. I work out on a regular basis and it just makes sense that working the muscles in your face would tone them up just like any other part of your body. I don’t know why I haven’t tried this before. I feel like see results quickly doing these exercises. I also really appreciate the straightforward and easy to understand the verbal instructions along with the videos, if you feel like you are definitely doing the exercises correctly. Many other times when I have tried to do other exercises I never feel like I am doing them properly or getting the full benefit. I need to take a before and after photo to see my true progress. I am 56 years old and I am seeing the start of some sagging in my jaw line and around my neck. I purchase the 90 day program and I am really hoping to see some results in these areas.
