4/5Impossible to find anything!
Search for “red grapes” brings up grape tomatoes first, some non-grape fruit juice, and cotton candy grapes. No: I want the grapes that are on sale this week. On the third try I select All Grapes and finally find the bulk red grapes. I use the plus sign to designate 1.5 lbs. Now there is no way to add this to my cart! Earlier searches bring up a slew of private label products, some sort of close to the specific search, others not at all. I am thoroughly exasperated with the app and not just because the previous app functioned better. Please fix this app

1/5New version is extremely frustrating
It's been several months using the new app and it doesn't seem to have gotten much, if any, better than when it was launched. The app has a hard time finding items I'm looking for... for example, if I type "avocado" into the search bar, it might show me avocado dressing at the top, and actual avocados may not even show up in the results. Irritating. I spend a decent amount of time shopping for the groceries I want to buy, to be told every single time by the shopper that several items are not available. I expressed frustration last night to the shopper (who was super kind and helpful) and she let me know it happens all the time that they don't have items that the app shows are available because it doesn't update. On a couple of items, she stated the store hadn't actually had them for months but it just isn't accurately reflected in the app. So I end up with about 1/3 of the groceries I order being "unavailable." It's not a big deal, except often it affects the total bill... for instance with BOGO, sometimes I don't get the free item, or yesterday it was with a coupon... buy 5 yogurt, get $1.00 off. Again, not a huge deal when paying Lunds prices anyway to miss out on a dollar... but when paying these prices, I expect their app to be a little better. The shopping experience is frustrating and with so many other options out there, we have switched to using shipt for Target or Kowalski's.

1/5One of the worst apps out there
One of the worst apps I use for shopping. There is no functioning way to consistently shop the current ad, upcoming ads are not available for viewing, I am forced to re-log in constantly, items in the list frequently can’t add to the cart, the search engine for foods is comically bad, the app lacks filter options to search by sale items, the frequency purchased filter is inaccurate, not all items in the store are available in the app, it is slow and often freezes and needs to be refreshed, and the app displays every item individually in alphabetical order (a nightmare in inefficiency!). It makes me angry to think that I pay to use this app because it should save me time, but often takes me more time than going into the store to make the purchase because it functions so poorly. I do most of my shopping online and this app definitely stands out as one of the worst. If any L&B executive thinks they have a fully functioning app for online shopping they are kidding themselves. They must never use it or test it from a customer perspective. The old app was far superior in functionality and efficiency.

1/5Don’t use app for grocery pick up
I used this app to order groceries for pick up for the first and last time. The app doesn’t allow you to make notes or indicate if you allow substitutions or not. Only the website allows that. The app will automatically select “yes” to substitutions. I didn’t know the app did this until I saw my confirmation email indicating I would allow substitutions. I tried to correct this for my order on the website and apparently the changes I made didn’t go through to store. They were out of stock on two items I needed and substituted an expensive item I don’t eat. When wrote in for a refund, they told me it was my fault for selecting substitutions allowed. I explained that I used the app and didn’t actually select substitutions allowed, they said, “we’ll give you a refund this time. However, in the future, you shouldn’t use the app if you don’t want substitutions. It doesn’t let you decide.” How does the app user know that before ordering?! We don’t! There’s no note. I won’t be using this app or shopping at L&B in the future. I can understand technology failing or lacking, but I don’t appreciate being condescended by L&B staff due to their technology failing. They were simply rude.

1/5App update introduced issues with user experience and performance
I have been ordering groceries weekly on the L&B app for years. I have never done a review, but felt I needed to as the most recent update has negatively impacted the app experience. Pages are slow to refresh, found myself watching the little refresh icon much too often, when sliding to the next screen or scrolling it is choppy and slow. The images are too large in many places - for example when looking at the weekly ad you can only see 1.5 items at a time meaning you are scrolling scrolling scrolling. Having a grid view is a much better experience. The checkout process required too many screens/steps. It feels like the user experience took a backseat in this design. As a mom who orders groceries to save time, it felt slow and frustrating. Hoping you can make improvements so I can keep using this service that I love.
