1. 5/5Extreme Design Unique App!

   Seems like now Days I am always rushing trying to get somewhere. So I would like to take a moment sit down and talk about this extremely special unique app that protects you myself and our family. People who invented the words Scam Fraud that change their phone number as fast as yes this Developer finds them. I truly thank the Developer for all the Hard work sweat and love that the Developer has done to the coding of this software that protects you myself and our family from fraudulent people who are trying to get our identity to steal money! The Technology is changing every second every minute and every day in fact right now as you read this. That’s why the Developer’s of this 5 Star app keep updating this unique system. So I hope you will download this very unique app and give it a try. Technology is not free wish like you it was not, but if you want to use something everyday and keep it you will find it cost! Well time for me to move on as they say, but Thanks Developer’s for putting the special love into your App I truly truly Thank You and I can’t help but tip my Hat to you Guys! Thanks

2. 2/5Lockdown 2.0 is paywalled trash

   This used to be a great app, but since the release of 2.0 (and their ever/increasing use of greedy pop ups asking for you to subscribe to their paid service) I decided to switch to AdGuard and deleted Lockdown from my phone. Some the the options to block certain trackers are now restricted to people who pay for their monthly subscription, so you only get limited protection if your on the free tier. They also starting making the app display a pop up, every single time you open the app. It’s greedy, needy, and annoying. I would no longer recommend this and I won’t go back to using it unless they tone down their pop ups and stop removing features/functionality from the free version of the app. I understand that app developers need funding to make the project viable but alienating your existing customers and ramping up the advertising of your paid subscription service is not the way. Apparently this app was acquired by another company, which explains all the negative changes that have taken place. For now, they are trading on the good name of the original developers, but I hope to see the average rating go down into the 1-2 range. It’s pretty insidious when you have an app that purports to protect your privacy, only to end getting bought and owned by a larger company which only cares about $$$ and probably does little to protect the user’s privacy. I avoid finding an alternative that is a one time purchase instead of a monthly fee. Get Proton or Mullvad if you want a VPN service.

   Here's the thing: I'm a caregiver to both my elderly parents and sometimes I need to just get away or destress. I love coloring by number and I have a couple apps I like and would love to just start coloring and lose myself for a few minutes. What I don't like is ads constantly interrupting me while I do this, so here comes Lockdown Yayyyy!!!! I was so excited when I found this app and so appreciate how it blocks ads on my iPhone and on the internet. This app is so needed on everyone's phone in my opinion. So thank you so much Lockdown for a beautiful much needed app😬! 2nd Review: I still think Lockdown is a 5 star because nowhere in AppStore have I found anything that will do what lockdown does! I realize that it is not cheap making or updating an app like this but at this time I cannot afford a subscription, or at least not an expensive one. I’m a caregiver and it just takes all I make n have to live everyday and care for my parents. But again in my opinion, this is a must on everyone’s phone. Thank you Lockdown for a superb app, for me it is everything 😀!

4. 3/5Stopped Working In Background..(UPDATE)

   UPDATE: I figured out with some trial & error that this app will continue to block trackers in the background but only if you have the VPN “secure tunnel” activated in the app with “background app refresh” turned on. The “Firewall” must also be turned on. If you only have the “firewall” activated but not the VPN “secure tunnel”, it does not seem to block trackers like Facebook that collect data on you while you sleep. I’m adding one star. It would be great if they made the firewall work by itself in the background because I’d rather not use a VPN at home, but I can live with it for now. Overall, I really like this app & company and recommend this product. 1st review: I’ve been using Lockdown for about six months now. At first, I thought it was amazing. It would block many add trackers like Facebook and Google, even while I slept at night. However, I noticed recently that those trackers stopped showing up in my “tracking log” each morning. “App Background Refresh” is turned on, but it makes no difference. Nothing seems to be getting blocked unless I am actively using my phone. This is a big concern, and I hope they can figure out what’s going on or I will need to start looking at other options.

   Guys you gotta listen so this app has no glitches nothing I have been thinking that when it says firewall and like VP if you put on the VP, it’ll say it’ll say you’re totally protected. Sometimes fire says digital intruders, but the only thing is that I think whenever you put on the firewall or the BMPthen it shares your address and location maybe just your location cause your phone wouldn’t know your address so time to get to the good part first of all it’s totally true at block ads I play sandbox which has a lot of ads and like melon sandbox, and any other games like ragdoll playground battle playground all that stuff so usually when I play duet cats, there is a lot of ads and it doesn’t make sense why I have that on when I literally bought a subscription for no ads sometimes I forget I have that subscription and I just put on the VP and firewall and actually pretty good thank you for listening to my Story and try this app, please😀
