   Well, I like it because this is so far the best one I’ve tested. The speech is way more natural than all the others I've seen, and it supports Cantonese. Now, one thing is sometimes it's kind of funny when I use the voice translator - the AI would just talk back to me as if I was having a conversation with the AI rather than translating my speech.

2. 2/5Subscriber paid, but unable to use what was paid for.

   I signed up for the three day trial which changes to a recurring paid 7 day subscription for $7.99 US. After using the app for a time after installation (it may have been 30 minutes, however I did not time it as no mention was made of that 30 minute limitation). The app functioned reasonably well in areas with little noise (yes I flipped the switch to ignore farther out sounds). Then a pop up occurred stating I had used my thirty minutes and needed to switch to the “unlimited plan” (no such selection exists in subscription choices). I figured it was the app trying to tell me it was time to pay, even though one day of the three day trial had not even completed. I clicked on the unlimited choice (other choice was cancellation and not functioning app), which brought me to the terms and conditions, not a subscription page. Nevertheless I went to the subscription page and chose the $7.99 weekly plan. Unfortunately that changed nothing. The pop up still insisted I had exceeded the 30 minutes (not mentioned anywhere I saw) and to choose unlimited. I contacted support who responded and was advised they would resolve the issue on their end, and apologized. The next day arrived. Guess what, nothing was fixed and no more response from support. I uninstalled/reinstalled/restored purchases at least three times. No luck. I’m out $7.99 for a non-functioning app and more importantly wasted much of my time. Don’t be a sucker as I was and waste your time and money. You’ll regret it. You’ll note that other reviewers have had similar issues with the publisher answering them that the issue had been resolved-NOT; do not fall for it. What a shame. I gave it two stars because it worked, some, for a short time.

   I purchased this app because the advertising claims that it can translate conversations, phone calls, and provide real-time translation through headphones. Unfortunately, my experience has been very different. I use AirPods and expected the app to continuously listen to nearby English speech through my iPhone and play the Russian translation in my ear. However, this does not work as advertised. The app does not clearly explain how to set up real-time headphone translation, and there is no obvious way to keep translation running reliably while using AirPods. The advertising gives the impression that seamless real-time translation is available, but in practice it is difficult or impossible to achieve the workflow shown in the promotional materials. If there is a specific setup required, it should be explained clearly. Otherwise, the marketing is misleading and creates expectations that the app does not meet. I would appreciate a response from the developer explaining exactly how real-time headphone translation and phone call translation are supposed to work on iPhone.

4. 2/5Not that great and is expensive

   I got download it today and they don’t offer a free trial. I click on $4.99 a month but when I clicked pay it charge me for the year. So now I can’t cancel for at least a year. Very frustrating and misleading. The main problem I have is when I text translate, it will won’t let me click the speaker button. It says the translation is not available at this time. It’ll translate the word, but it will not say the word which is a problem and makes no sense because when I do the conversation mode, it says the words just fine. This app is not that good and it’s a waste of money.

5. 3/5Good app but....

   As a translator it is excellent. The problem is I have a paid subscription, but everytime I use it I get the page trying to sell me a subscription. It then asks me to restore my account and requires me to enter my Apple password. Sometimes it lets me paste my password, and other times it does not. I use a password manager with complex passwords and it is a major headache if I have to type it in. If it doesn't get fixed, I will not renew my subscription.
