   I like LinkedIn because it allows me to connect with wonderful people I have had a very very good experience with LinkedIn and interestingly though I never asked for a review because I never really cared because I never really thought I was gonna be jobless and only one person ever gave me a review and his name was Patrick O’Malley and he said something very very special but he made a mistake in the review or something and I was really confused by it but inn because it introduced me to Patrick O’Malley and now I’m gonna be speaking to Patrick O’Malley directly because he was very very Saint Patrick O’Malley perhaps I don’t know Saint Patrick O’Malley was very present in his utterances anyway that’s why I like LinkedIn anyway live on TikTok which TikTok TikTok tick-tock you know I was thinking about TikTok man you know I’m here and you know you’re kind of like a little bit late you know a few minutes later or whatever you know we have like broadcast delay delays you know going live going live at the world stage is very very important it’s a very competitive event and you know we do that we practice you know different ways so I’m gonna turn on the heat a little bit OK actually I was even talking here I was just kinda like doing a LinkedIn review oops oh well hey anyway LinkedIn is great so have fun LinkedIn I’m still looking for a job so please pick me up because I’m too lazy to get a job as you know LinkedIn very well but anyway I’m trying to get a job in rectangular maintenance or something like as a theoretician in like rectangular space and I need to make that space more three-dimensional kind of like if I want to do that it’s it’s all information Terry OK thank you

2. 4/5Good Professional Platform, Needs UI Adjustments

   I'll say this first: LinkedIn is the first social media on which I had any type of success. My content, in-depth and thought-provoking, was often penalized by algorithms on other platforms. That said, I think LinkedIn understands that they are the dominant service of the business-networking world, so there is really no reason to change the platform. However, this undermines the user base in two major ways: first, users effectively have to learn and adapt to the algorithm, which has certain quirks that influence general platform engagement. For instance, my feed has posts from minutes ago as well as from weeks ago. Second, it is challenging to edit and draft within LinkedIn itself, and I often find myself relying on other mediums to do so. Polishing the LinkedIn editor, and adding flavor (italics, bold, underlining) to text within the UI would go a long way. That said, I have received more thoughtful, engaging, and insightful content from LinkedIn than on any other platform I've used (save Substack, with which it may be on par). So while the algorithm does a good job selecting relevant content, its timeline and preferences (for instance, the odd rule of thumb that authors ought to comment on their own posts) are somewhat confusing. Still, using LinkedIn has been, overall, a very positive experience.

3. 3/5Networking but not enough support

   I enjoy LinkedIn and its professional setting that it creates. It’s also easier to apply for internships and jobs through LinkedIn, without too many bots or scam jobs (such as Devil Corporations). But I believe that its extreme strict handling of the app also has some downsides, such as many of the app’s users getting restricted for small or unreasonable things. Personally, I was restricted from my account without any reason (the only possible explanation being that I spent too much time on the app) and have sent an appeal (through Persona) to unrestricted my account, but there has been no message back. LinkedIn claims that it will tackle any restriction appeals back by 24-48 hours, but I have been waiting for over a week without any message back. This is not uncommon, with many other people having no access to their accounts for months. All of the jobs and internships that I have applied for are left on hold because of this issue. I have done everything. I have contacted LinkedIn support on Instagram, X/Twitter, and through Email, yet there is still no mention of my account back. LinkedIn, please invest in more support staff or use a restriction process that is more lax (such as an email to the restricted person’s account and a questionnaire), rather than actual and official documents that need to manually be seen by staff and unrestricted with. Either invest in more staff or have an online system where a program can check all necessary paperwork and unrestricted users immediately. Also, please check my appeal, I really want my account back!

4. 1/5Horrible New User Experience and Customer Service

   Upon creating an account I tried to verify it but the third party service they used to scan my documents read both my name and birthday incorrectly. After I contacted customer service to address this I soon got locked out of my account and had to contact customer service to get back in. They had me scan and upload documents again several times with a different third party, and eventually unfroze my account after accusing me of breaking the community policy and terms of service by sharing my account and/or accessing other accounts, which absolutely never happened. I tried to follow up with the customer service rep by asking them to let me know if using their service while protecting my internet traffic with a VPN was not allowed or viable, since I assume it was my VPN that they mistook for suspicious activity. The customer service representative did not answer my question but did immediately restrict my account again and accuse me of breaking their terms of service and community guidelines again. When I asked for clarification I was ignored and informed that the case was considered resolved, that I would not be given access to my account again nor may I create a new one, and now I have no recourse for recovering my account. And the kicker? VPNs aren’t even disallowed by their terms of service or community policy. Absolutely abhorrent service. What a nightmare: a complete waste of time, energy, and mental health.

5. 1/5Need to take likes away

   I personally hate this app but need it to stay connected to some people. That being said, lately when I scroll, it’s adding unwarranted likes to photos or videos of people I don’t even know. Just now I was scrolling through my feed and as I did, likes (from me) were being added to a bunch of posts. I’m not hitting likes nor am I double tapping anything. Just regular scrolling and boom, like. Because of it, I’m now being contacted by people I could care less about! We need to be able to take these off. O have also been approached by men looking for dates. Men I do not know. This app isn’t for professionals anymore, it’s a freaking joke. Oh and by the way…Most of my feed are ads or posts from people and companies I am not connected with in any way. I never see posts from those I am and my own posts have gone down in views from hundreds to literally single digits. My last post had 6 views! Two years ago I had a thousand…how does this even happen? I have also put in my settings that I AM NOT LOOKING FOR A JOB and yet I get all of these messages from both LinkedIn and from potential employers telling me about positions or would I like to come in and meet, etc. Enough! I only keep this to stay in contact with folks who I am no longer connected with on other social platforms. This app and service has seriously lost its way from what it once was. AI, ChatGbt and other IMpersonal bots have made this no longer a place to connect with actual humans and more like a bot app to get spammed with nonsense. DO BETTER.

   can't login. it is frustrating... you can do better. I've been over it for 24 hours now. just returning someone back to the login page despite passing security check. this is frustrating.

   Job search doesn't work properly. It returns all job postings ignoring my search. Sometimes location search doesn't work either. Also, I can't read job descriptions. When I tap Read more, it doesn't work
