4/5Great system, only the necessary features
Double entry means that you can keep track of more complicated situations with a less complicated interface than other apps. This app seems on track to become the perfect iPhone accounting solution but is only almost there; it is missing some features I would like (particularly reconciling accounts) and the number of taps to do something isn't streamlined everywhere (in order to get from the history of an account to add an entry you need to back out of one thing and go into another.)

4/5Potentially great…
I really like this app! Visually, it’s extremely appealing. The UI is unique and intuitive. But, there is room for improvement... Importing transactions requires a bit of a learning curve, though, once you get the hang of it, it’s extremely functional. Fortunately, the process is ever-improving, due to the developer’s responsiveness and hard work. Clearly, this app is destined for greatness. Grab it!

5/5Perfect for Bean Counters
I count beans, and I'm not ashamed of it. I've tried apps like Cha-Ching, and they are beautiful, but single-entry accounting is for chumps. Then, I came upon the Ledger: the first and only beautiful, usable and functional double-entry accounting app for iPhone. Ledger is more than worth the $3.99 I paid for it! Also, the icon is worthy of its place in my iPod touch next to the likes of TouchPad, ConvertBot and Tweetie 2. Thank you for making an application that is beautiful enough to sit on my first page of apps.

4/5Nice app very helpful
This is a good app to help you budget your expenses. A basic understand of credits and debits is needed to be able to use this app in my opinion. You don't need to be an accountant but it would help you to know that: Assets accounts have a debt normal balance, which means you debit it to add to it or in the case of this app(use the plus black icon). Also expenses have a normal debit balance. Liabilities and revenue have a credit normal balance, which means you add to that account by crediting it or in the case of this app( use the red minus icon). To take away from any account just apply it's opposite normal balance. For example to reduce an asset account which have a normal debit balance you must credit it. I hope this info helps you in using this app. It is well worth the $3.99 I paid for it;). P.S speaking from an accounting stand point. (Revenues are suppose to have a credit balance), but in this app it seems to have it setup as a debit account in order to add to it. Sincerely, Accountant in the making.

5/5Tutorials, PLEASE!!
Thank you very much for listening!! Honestly I started to use your application once I found some other accounting explanations, but your tutorial clarify my thoughts. By the way, thanks for give us a sneek peek about your next update, great add-ons. Here are another suggestions: - It would be great if you could make disappear the words "New Transaction" when I start to write. That will avoid to click on the "X" icon each time that I want to add a new one, it's better for all of us to specify the transaction title. Well, I'm not pretty sure, it's just a suggestion... - Also, If you think that you'll do more tutorials, I think it's a great idea to put in your website a mailing list subscriber. I didn't know about your website update until I was managing my reviews so I decided to check your app section. I can't wait for the new version!!!!!!
