Great to see updates after all these years! This app is a tool and you must read the manual to get the most out of it. It provides a wealth of data that helps you confidently squeeze the last bit of range from your LEAF. It’s not the prettiest design, but it’s practical and useful, like the original LEAF. I use it on every drive and have never found myself stranded thanks to the data out provides.

5/5App is an incredible tool
This app is an incredible tool allowing owners to see many aspects of their Leaf vehicle parameters. Including the High Voltage battery information and overall health. Low voltage battery is also available. I use it to reduce my range anxiety on road trips since it will show be the real battery State of Charge (SOC) and an estimated DTE ( Distance to Empty). I set mine to show the estimated range until real 1% SOC. I use this instead of relying on the dashboard range, which is more conservative. It also allows you to see and reset DTCs ( Diagnostic Trouble Codes).

4/5Great tool if you run into Leaf issues
First time leaving an app review but felt compelled to share my experience. The user interface is a bit difficult to figure out, I think that why it’s rated close to 3.5 stars, but it works. This is a great tool if you want to know more about your battery health but also like me you have DTCs (aka MIL/check engine light) Saved me a trip to the dealer and I was able to fix my no engine start issue. Even if you’re not a DIY person, getting the codes and using some AI you can at least have a good conversation with your vehicle service center. Finding the DTC was challenging, I had to ask an AI bot for help. Final note, yes you must have a Bluetooth OBD II scanner for this to work. Make sure you perform a search to confirm compatibility with the OBD II reader and this app.

5/5Great tool for anyone with a Leaf
This is a great tool to get additional info from the Leaf about battery health, battery temp, tire pressure, and more! This latest version added support for turning off the annoying backup sound as well as the slow forward motion high pitched sounds - allowing the 2013 and later Leafs to be quiet as they should. The moment I got this version I turned off the annoying VSP sounds making the Leaf much better! Thanks for adding this functionality!

5/5This tool paid for itself the day it arrived.
This tool paid for itself the day it arrived. I disabled the backup warning (it had to go) and low speed warning noises. The tire pressure monitor (TPM) is very helpful. It took about 15 mins to get the TPM assigned to the correct corner once I understood the GUI. The assigning process could be much more simple, but it does work fine. I like having the live data from the TPMs. Very useful battery monitoring tools that take some time to understand the data your getting. I found some of the change options under the service screen (if used incorrectly) detriment. The warnings are there and would recommend users heed them or at least proceed with carefully.

There is also a new Reset ID button available when Dropbox is disabled that clears the saved login information, if it exists, so a different Dropbox account can be selected. A Long press of the Reset ID button is required to active this function. - In switching from Dropbox API 1 to API 2 LeafSpy will initially disable Dropbox when started. Go into Settings/Dropbox and re-enable Dropbox and exit Settings. In a few seconds a new Dropbox login page will appear so you can re-authorize LeafSpy's access to Dropbox using the API 2 interface. - Preliminary support for the 2018 Leaf.
