  1. 5/5Amazing Source

First of all, all these people complaining about the subscription.. it’s only 99 cents a month. It’s really sad and pitiful that all these reviews are crying about a dollar a month.. for valuable information that’s constantly being updated.. and literally has everything you need to know All in one app. It’s seamless and Fast.. I’m paying 99 Cents for the convenience of having everything in one app. Using this app is definitely the best source for aspiring paramedics and and current paramedics.. stop being cheap.. it’s only a dollar a month.. that’s only $12 dollars a year..

  2. 1/5Zero integrity

I was one of the ones that purchased this app when it first came out for $10 years later the app developer who I was told as a firefighter started charging a subscription fee, which is fine. He can do what he wants after all It is his app. I then reached out asking for a refund of my $10 since I was not interested in paying a subscription fee he never responded, never gave me a refund. If you’re looking for a free of charge LA County Paramedic app they have one now called RAPID LA County Medic, Which is free! This guy scammed everyone that paid the fee of $10 for unlimited access all for money. Junk!

  3. 5/5Are you kidding me? This is awsome!

I'm a critical care transport RN /NREMT-Paramedic and this couldn't be any easier, or sweeter to use. The updated version is not using my GPS to locate local hospitals for some reason. Im sure this will get worked out... Bedsides I can find my way to the hospital. But the nuts and bolts of this work great and is a great help. Would highly recommend...keep up the great work.

  4. 5/5L.A.s Finest!

This app is ESSENTIAL for any Paramedic or EMT in L.A! As important as any training or safety device. Takes all guesswork out of EVERY aspect of field prehospital care in L.A. County. This app can actually make you a better care provider and operate more efficiently. I used this app onmy iPod touch and loved it. I used it on calls, after calls, and during CE. The iPad version will be even better now. This app is the wave of the future and a must have. I never leave the station or get off the Engine without it!

  5. 5/5Great app

Firstly: excellent app. It seems to be getting updated with the most recent LA EMSA protocols, etc. and it is a great reference versus going to the website or pulling out the paramedic school protocol book. ...but if we already purchased it, do we also have to buy the subscription now? I bought this like 2 years ago or something, now I’m being asked to also buy a subscription. And don’t get me wrong, 99 cents isn’t murder, pocket prep went from a $30/lifetime to $90/year, so there’s worse things...lol but do we have to buy the app AND a subscription?

New in version 2.0: -Hospital listing based on location. You will now notice a button labeled ‘Hospitals’ on the top left of the screen. Upon clicking that button, your iPhone/iPod Touch will attempt to find your gps coordinates and then list the hospitals closest to you based on those coordinates. You will also have the ability to show that hospital on ‘Maps’ as well as the ability to call that hospital by clicking their corresponding buttons. Once in ‘Maps’ you will have the ability to get directions to that location as you normally would in ‘Maps.’ All hospitals that are listed in the LaDHS policy Ref. No. 501 have been included in the list. If there is any error with the numbers, please contact me advising me of the error, and we will correct it promptly.
