Got my Tornado warnings 3-5min before my IPhone an city let me know we had one in our area.. You can go to settings an pick what alerts/warnings you want to be Notified. When I get one it’s a live video that’s been uploaded about what’s going on in your area explaining what kind of weather is heading your way into great detail.. I’ve had app 4 months an I haven’t had no Issues

4/5I agree - TMI (too much info)
What I thought I was getting was a weather alert system. Instead, I’m constantly getting notices about temp, wind and what “might” happen. You leave one with no alternative than to turn off notifications. That, of course, nullifies the reason why you have the app in the first place. Another thing I have noticed is : The main reason I have tuned in to your weather is because you give a translation of the weather that is professional and informative, without the hype. Since this new app came available, your delivery seems to have changed. As if, because you have hounded people with the excessive details, you have to change your delivery (exaggerate every possible event) to make it interesting enough for folks to watch anyway. Too many missed forecasts because your focus doesn’t seem to be on useful information but theatrics to sell advertising. I understand that KXII is a business, but you are swimming in a sea of diminishing returns. I liked your station better before the app. Just because you can do it doesn’t mean it’s a good idea. I want to immediately alert to that notification, because I know that what you have to say has relevance to my safety and security. As it is now, I have already turned off the notification sound, and am contemplating turning off the notifications altogether. The app could have been a useful tool, but instead, it’s a nuisance. I know you guys are better than that. KMSmith

5/5Pecan Gap-Delta County
We live in Telephone, Texas now. Which is in Fannin County. Lived 20 years in Sherman always listen to Tom and Steve for the weather on channel 12 and on our phone s for updates. However I have family moving to Pecan Gap in Delta County so I am constantly checking the weather for both counties sure would like to include Delta County now in our weather updates. Thank y’all! 4/5App is good, constant notifications are annoying
I enabled the notifications for this app initially, hoping to be informed about severe weather, but instead I'm constantly getting updates throughout the day - about the weather getting, getting hotter, it might rain, getting hotter ... it just seems unnecessary. I disabled notifications, which is unfortunate because getting alerts for severe weather would have been great but it's not worth being constantly bothered.

5/5Features stopped working
I have iPhone SE, iOS 13.1.1. Hourly and daily forecast has stopped working. Not sure when it stopped, but presumably with the latest iOS update. Otherwise, this app has been a decently solid platform.
