   KSL+ used to be a good app to watch the news, but now it stinks. Sports are not shown with the live feed. The 10:00pm broadcast is days old, making it irrelevant. The Sunday night sports broadcast is always cut short when it could be seen. Plus, no one wants to see the last five minutes of the NBC show before the news. Lastly, now there’s a cavalcade of ads we have to endure just to catch up on the news. In conclusion, every time there is a change on the steaming service, it’s a change for the worse.

2. 2/5Each release is better than the next

   This app is constantly like 3 steps forward 2 steps back. The most current release has more or less killed app user’s ability to interact with comments. The current build has a terrible connection to the feed. Open the app wait minutes for the stories to load. Finally you start refining the look of the comment section but fail to separate the like and the report buttons so people using one hand stretching to hit like can accidentally hit report half the time. KSL stop making things worse and when you make changes make sure you change to make the app better not just change for change sake.

3. 1/5Not working as advertised

   I have an iPad Air 2. I have several issues with the app. First, every time I open the app, it will rotate from portrait mode to landscape mode, but will not stay on landscape mode. It is very touchy, and drives me crazy. Another thing that doesn’t work very well is the ability to airplay to an Apple TV. With that I have a third generation Apple TV (I think, its the one before the first Siri remote), and the screen is not a wide screen. It is only doing mirror play. While in mirror play, it will not load very fast, and slows to a crawl or just buffers. If this is how it was designed, without these old devices then I’m sure it is working correctly. But for me and my devices we will hope for the best, and hope for some improvements in the future. I have tried it the last 3-4 RSL Games and nothing has worked.

4. 1/5Hate the new app

   I have used this app for years and has been my primary source for news. But ever since they made their new update it is virtually unusable. Most the videos don’t load and there is now an advertisement between every single video segment, I am fine with a few ads here and there but when you watch a 30 second video segment and then a 30 second ad and then a 15 second video segment and then another 30 second ad it gets extremely painful. I also used like that it would automatically go from one video segments to another when you went through the recent newsfeed. But now you have to click on each one.

   Love that I can watch me some RSL games on this app!! It has the casting option but has never been able to Cromecast, which is sad that I can’t see RSL on the big screen 😢, but I have the Channel on Roku which has been a great alternative. It is awesome that we can watch games that have been missed but it would be delicious if there was some sort of schedule of when you are playing previous games so that I can get on a watch when you are playing missed games and not hoping your playing the game I missed, or jumping into the middle of the missed game and have everything spoiled. Love that we can watch RSL for free, thanks KSL for making this happen 😀.
