I have tried many many of these types of apps. This is one of my favorites! It excels in almost all areas, from search, to keeping track of your shows, to helping you find your next favorite, etc. If I had to make a few suggestions, I’d ask for more than one trailer. Some apps have multiple trailers and I appreciate that. Also in search, if you could add a way to search by genres, I would appreciate that as well. I do love this app… so much so that I already purchased a lifetime subscription. Keep up the GREAT work! Cheers 🍻

4/5Would be amazing, if better privacy policy.
Lots to like. Only tv and movie tracker that lets you follow actors to quickly find their latest work. Also doesn’t save sort for actors work. Always resorts to most popular. Like to save in order of the latest work. And be nice to have deep links to content to access from other apps. Appears to be comprehensive move and show tracker. However not a fan of its privacy policy. That’s a deal breaker.

5/5The Best Movie and TV app
Konsensus is the best movie and tv app. It has an incredible user interface and gives you all of the best review and streaming info in one place. It syncs effortlessly with Letterboxed and Trakt. I could go on and on about all of the cool features and information in this app. And have I mentioned how pretty it is? Anyone who likes and understands the benefits of using ROON when choosing music will appreciate how much Konsensus improves the experience of choosing what to watch.

5/5Three pros of Konsensus - Updated
##UPDATE 2025## So many changes, all good. The most important one is the episode order is now available via the context menu, as well as left to right (much easier to read). The only things I would ask is lowering the price for the lifetime plan and ability to export Trakt data without a subscription. If not, I still look forward to seeing what the dev has in store for Konsensus Konsensus Review Redux This is a review that is a lot more focused on what Konsensus has to offer, than one related to what should be added. There are three main qualities of Konsensus (there are plenty, but let's focus on the most important), and those are speed, presentation and cost. Speed : Konsensus is very fast, even on older devices. I was surprised at how fast it was. The content (TV shows, Movies, settings) loads almost instantly and that is especially useful when you want to quickly view the latest content, such as trending actors/actresses. Presentation : When Konsensus is opened, immediately you are greeted with an inviting design, with very little bombardment of joining pro. The next thing is the sidebar, which shows a very generous amount of features that are free, such as watch later and reviews. The final thing to note is how many different bits of information you can view about a particular show or movie. My favorite part is viewing the cast and seeing what else they appear in. Cost : Cost is very important to more than a handful of people and Konsensus has a lot of features that are free. What I like about this is that the app is not stripped down to the point of being a shell of an app with nag screens galore. For a low cost, you can use a large portion of the features and zero popups. I know that I didn't mention widgets, but so many apps have widgets and I wanted to focus on what sets Konsensus apart from the rest. I hope more people get to enjoy this app in their free time and I hope you enjoyed my review.

5/5Simple, functional, smooth and well-executed!
Fantastic native iPad/iPhone app that can be the center of your movie / TV tracking life. Finally bridging the gap between Trakt and Letterboxd to keep all of your viewing activity and ratings in sync! Really clean, default iOS design language with some visually fun but functional data visualizations throughout. Specifically on iPad, some pages can feel a little information-heavy with just how much content is viewable on-screen so I would love to see some scaling options like a global zoom slider in settings. Sometimes I’m okay with less efficient uses of space and consequently scrolling a bit more if it means being less overwhelmed by the amount of content!

Some apps have multiple trailers and I appreciate that. Also in search, if you could add a way to search by genres, I would appreciate that as well.           "body": "##UPDATE 2025## So many changes, all good. The most important one is the episode order is now available via the context menu, as well as left to right (much easier to read). The only things I would ask is lowering the price for the lifetime plan and ability to export Trakt data without a subscription. If not, I still look forward to seeing what the dev has in store for Konsensus Konsensus Review Redux This is a review that is a lot more focused on what Konsensus has to offer, than one related to what should be added. There are three main qualities of Konsensus (there are plenty, but let's focus on the most important), and those are speed, presentation and cost. Speed : Konsensus is very fast, even on older devices. I was surprised at how fast it was. The content (TV shows, Movies, settings) loads almost instantly and that is especially useful when you want to quickly view the latest content, such as trending actors/actresses. Presentation : When Konsensus is opened, immediately you are greeted with an inviting design, with very little bombardment of joining pro. The next thing is the sidebar, which shows a very generous amount of features that are free, such as watch later and reviews. The final thing to note is how many different bits of information you can view about a particular show or movie. My favorite part is viewing the cast and seeing what else they appear in. Cost : Cost is very important to more than a handful of people and Konsensus has a lot of features that are free. What I like about this is that the app is not stripped down to the point of being a shell of an app with nag screens galore. For a low cost, you can use a large portion of the features and zero popups. I know that I didn't mention widgets, but so many apps have widgets and I wanted to focus on what sets Konsensus apart from the rest. I hope more people get to enjoy this app in their free time and I hope you enjoyed my review.",

Finally bridging the gap between Trakt and Letterboxd to keep all of your viewing activity and ratings in sync! Really clean, default iOS design language with some visually fun but functional data visualizations throughout. Specifically on iPad, some pages can feel a little information-heavy with just how much content is viewable on-screen so I would love to see some scaling options like a global zoom slider in settings. Sometimes I’m okay with less efficient uses of space and consequently scrolling a bit more if it means being less overwhelmed by the amount of content!",
