We're calling this one Primrose. It's our biggest update yet — new ways to keep your reading life honest and unhurried. Nightstand Your next reads, always within reach. Queue up to seven books on your Nightstand — a short, intentional list of what you're reaching for next. Set it down without guilt Mark any book as Paused or Did Not Finish. Not every book needs to be completed, and your library should reflect that honestly. Gentle reminders Set a daily reading reminder — once a day at most, on your schedule. Pause it whenever you need to. No streaks, no guilt. Search, redesigned A refreshed search screen with seasonal picks from our garden and series continuation, so you can find what's next without scrolling endlessly. Swap editions Switch a book to a different edition and keep all your sessions, reflections, and progress intact. Swap cover image Choose the cover that feels right. Bug fixes and improvements Assorted fixes including Live Activity reliability improvements.

A few quiet repairs for version 1.2: • Search now finds books by author or alias, not just title • Tapping a locked app icon opens the tip jar • Paused sessions stay paused when you return to the app

Fresh picks refresh more often, and clearing your cache now tidies up everything.

A quieter Live Activity. The Lock Screen widget got a careful rework — covers now bleed into a backdrop tinted from their own colors, the timer wears a serif, and the Dynamic Island matches the mood. Recovered sessions land cleanly with the right elapsed time, too. Reminders that wait their turn. The inactivity nudge now actually fires when you've gone quiet, even if you also have a daily reminder set. Previously the daily silently took over and the nudge never showed.
