   When I first heard about Kadama I was looking for a tutoring job. It popped up on my timeline and of course I researched to see what it was all about. There was some mixed views, yet overall positive feedback. The signup process is easy for both tutors and students, but just a heads-up whatever the app ask for in the registration process, try not to leave it blank. I have been working for Kadama for almost a month and a half now and I love it. I love that I get to grow not only as a tutor, but grow with the students I help. I have had a consistent handful of students who went from nearly failing to understanding and passing. I tell students all the time it isn’t just about the correct answers or being fluent in a subject, it is about understanding the right way. I love that Kadama keep it straightforward from the criteria and payment. Yes there are days when Kadama may not answer back at the time you want it to, but you got to remember the app is rapidly growing and there will be pileups. In the end, the only thing that matters is they answer you within the window they offered. Also, I am a “trusted tutor” that have the background check. Tutors please do the background check, it is good for business for you and Kadama.

2. 5/5Great for college and high school students!

   Firstly I should start off by saying this app is really innovative in what it aims to accomplish. Setting up tutors to help students and letting students be tutors is a great app. Especially during this pandemic many students may suffer from learning disabilities and the tutors here might be able to help with that. The tutors have provided insightful feedback especially in regards to the SAT section. Second, the idea set that a student can help be a tutor is a very good idea as students who have a higher understanding of a subject can help another student who doesn’t. Of course there might be people in it just only for the money but I’m certain a “trust background” or policy could be placed regarding that. The developers take feedback really seriously so a person shouldn’t hesitate to contact them. Lastly, a person even hesitant to try the app should at least try it once, the developers are very nice and take criticism very seriously. If you’re also a student who has a lot of knowledge regarding a subject, I would highly recommend using this app as it could provide a good side hustle, not only that but perhaps it might look good on your college resume as well.

3. 5/5Small team, great support!!!

   I’ve been tutoring on this app for some time now and the extra income has definitely helped these past few months. Payments are delivered daily and there’s no shortage of students - you earn as much as you’re willing to stay on the app. One way the app could be improved is if new student requests were sent to a limited number of tutors at a time. This way, less overall requests would come in but there would be a higher likelihood of making a connection with a student, as right now there seems to be quite a bit of competition between tutors racing to respond to new student requests. It can be quite frustrating to respond to request after request only to get no response back. Overall I’ve had an excellent experience tutoring on Kadama. Sure there are plenty of students who have no intention of paying you for your work but if you follow the tutor guidelines and pay attention to any red flags you’ll have a good experience tutoring on this app. Lastly, the support staff has been nothing short of exceptional in my experience. They are responsive, friendly, and super helpful and have personally helped me on a number of occasions. Would highly recommend anyone interested in online tutoring to consider tutoring on Kadama.

   Tutor’s perception: Have only been using the app for a short time so this is a first time review. I will update my review in the future once I have more experience with the app and the experience. It can be hard to find students to help out since the competition is hard! Sometimes I’ll message multiple students and never get a response, but that’s how it is pretty much everywhere tbh. Some students will respond and as soon as you mention price they don’t ever respond again. Which is very annoying to think you have student to help but don’t want to pay for help. I do love the payment system it’s easy to use and you get rewards for getting paid inside the app! Which is nice! The better tutor you are the more they recommend you to students! The messaging system is well thought out easy to use. When I do find students I do get paid well for the work I do which is important! For now my review is I will continue to use the app as a tutor and invite others to try it out! Edit: The support is really bad!! I have emailed 5 or 6 times and only got a response from 2 of the emails I’ve sent. I understand support might be understaffed but a response of close to 3 weeks is unacceptable especially when the automated email says “wait time is 3-5 days”. Furthermore, new update is way too strict you can’t even mention the word “email” and “text” in your message to students otherwise the app will block you. Even if it’s to say “email support” or “email the professor to get clarification on a question”. I understand they don’t want tutors and students to use email, but a blanket ban on those words is ridiculous especially when they don’t tell anyone you can’t use those words. But the tutoring is great love helping the students and making the money.

5. 1/5Horrible customer service

   I got the app 2 weeks ago and everything was fine it was well deciles and it worked perfectly fine. I was working with a ton of students and i loved it! BUT after those 2 weeks my account got deleted by administrators. I have never scammed anyone, have always been as friendly as possible even to the rude students, and was always on time. The ONLY time I can think of being rude is when middle schoolers were flirting and I quickly said that was inappropriate which might have resulted in them reporting me and getting deleted but I highly doubt that. So, there would be NO real reason to ban me from the app. I've contacted kadama support through text 5 times over the past week and haven't gotten any response, i've contacted support through email 3 times in the past 3 days and haven't gotten a response, and I even went to twitter to see if I could get a response there and didn't. They didn't send a warning or reason anywhere as to why my account was terminated but instead deleted my account in the middle of me helping a student with homework AFTER they had already paid! So now i'm forced to never give this girl her homework after she paid me to do it all because of kadama. This is my last resort to get a response!
