  1. 5/5Love The App

The JETFIT APP Is amazing! I’ve been using it for several years. The App does an excellent job in tracking my progress and is very customizable. I love the feature that allows me to customize my own exercises and routines and write my own instruction reminders. My only knock on the App is also a positive as well and that is this- the App is updated regularly. This is a good thing but also a minor negative to have to reacclimatize to the new features each time there’s an update. But again, that is very minor and some of the new features are awesome! And the basic operating features always remain constant. Sort like our phone updates. Though they occur, the basic operating system still remains. I’ve tried other Apps in all this time but always come back to JETFIT. In my opinion it is the best exercise/workout in the market. Lastly, if you’re not interested in customizing your own workout routines, the JETFIT APP offers tons! PLW123 Chicago, Illinois

  2. 3/5Core functionality is there but always disappointed

I’ve been using this app for a few years and while it does the key basic need for me, tracking and organizing my lifts, it leaves me frustrated over something new every time I use it. They update and changing the app frequently which is great but each iteration seems to lose something or make something less intuitive. More and more pop up prompts are added each time, asking you to make more and more decisions before you can actually get to the reason you opened the app, exercising. The set counters were removed from the training outline page so you can’t see how much you’ve done at a glance anymore. Inputting your weight and reps has become more convoluted, resetting itself each time to a less intuitive scroller option instead of just using the keyboard, which was fine. The graph to track your progress makes no sense either. When I want to see graphs of my progress I have to take this data and put it elsewhere, there is no easy and intuitive way to see my weight progress on one specific exercise in a clear linear graph. There are many other little things that have changed for the worse since I started paying for JEFIT but these are the ones that smack me in the face every day. There is a lot of good in this app however and I just wish they asked users what they like/dislike or need/don’t need so they can avoid bloat and keep this app tight.

  3. 2/5Far from perfect

I have been using this app for several months and my verdict is that anyone else who would have been its successive releases would normally not have a job today. There is not A DAY that goes by without having to report a bug, from routines that do not play the appropriate illustrations and videos which CAN be a big deal and is still not fixed to the mix ups of routines from different muscle groups when you try to work solely on a certain muscle group. Before you realize that you are trying to find that one routine in vain, precious time has been lost. I have lost track of the number of times I wrote to support for this or that bug, sometimes even without an acknowledgement. One thing that also bugs me (pun intended) is that there is no clock on the personalized routine. Maybe there is one on the other routines but i don’t know . One final thing, I am not sure that going from dark blue to light blue when you select a muscle group is a wide decision. It is certainly not user friendly when people have a hard time seeing colors. Going from dark blue to white or pink any color that suits your preference would also save time, for those who are keenly time conscious. Barring some changes based on quality than rushing to release a new version without some real quality control I don’t expect to renew my subscription.

  4. 4/5Almost there

I have been using this app for a few years. I haven’t switched because it’s so easy to use. It has plenty of work outs for every muscle group. You can even break down your routines by group or use one of their many pre made plans for all levels of expertise. One of my favorite features is how it will give you a detailed break of how much your working each muscle so you can have an overall full body balanced work out. It will also let you know when your muscles are ready to be stressed again so you don’t over work and give them time to rest. I have recommended to all my friends and family that have started working out and they enjoy it also. It makes for some friendly competition and accountability. The four star is because they just updated the app to function better with the Apple Watch, but it’s still glitchy. Timer will freeze so you have to keep tapping the screen to keep it moving. Also the notification to let you know to begin is not as smooth as it is in the phone app. It also would be nice to swap exercises on the watch like you can in the app-I know this is picky but it’s a great feature.

  5. 3/5Minimal planning features

The app does serve its purpose. I have problems with specifying anything on my workout, though, which almost makes it useless for me. I cannot add notes or a description to the workout or an exercise specifically in the workout. I can’t even change the name of an exercise, like Barbell squat to Barbell pause squat, but have it as the same exercise. I can not put an RPE number, or have 1RM% put in to make it easy for me. I should be able to write notes and descriptions of a workout plan, because a plan needs to be explained. It would be easier to put in modified exercises in named as its own exercise but be represented as another exercise, so I could have that extra control. All of this makes it harder for me to plan a workout, which ruins the point for me. I shouldn’t need to change the weights manually every time if I could use a percentage of my 1RM and adding RPEs should be easy. Edit: you can’t even make sets with different weights. It’s not hard to make multiple sets of the same exercise, but they literally can just make it so that I can edit like how they let you edit it in the middle of the workout
