5/5The Absolute Best Streaming Jazz
I’ve been listening to this app for a couple years now and I never get tired of it. They offer a wealth of curated robot stations. My favorites are bebop, hard bop, and modern big band, but you can get everything from swing to guitar jazz to fusion to blues. They even have a smooth jazz channel if you’re into that sort of thing. Ads are not overwhelming, and they also have a premium version for those who want enhanced sound and an ad free experience. I’m a satellite subscriber, but their jazz stations are bland and uninteresting. I much prefer the Jazz Radio app. They deserve a wide user base because they obviously put a lot of effort into making their app excellent. I highly recommend it.

This is the best music app I have and I have several. I don’t like playlists. I want to be surprised and on occasion thrilled with something I’ve never heard before. Thank you Jazz Radio!!!!!!! And I finally stopped pressing “Remind me later” today and who knows when that will ever happen again! So hopefully my 5 (billion) star rating comes through. Oh and I’m also enjoying not listening to Home Depot ads every few songs anymore since I got Premium. If you’re reading this review, go for it. You know you want to!!!

4/5A go-to Jazz resource
JazzRadio is the streaming source of choice for me, and one of only two to which I subscribe. It’s been a significant part of the “soundtrack of my life” for nearly a decade (perhaps more?). The app has gradually improved in its performance in the years since the current app replaced the earlier one, and most of the bugs have been worked out. I appreciate that the audio starts much more quickly than was the case a year ago, and earlier (on the same devices that I’ve used since 2014). Interruptions are significantly less frequent as well. Overall, I’m very happy with JazzRadio. Now, if only an Organ Jazz channel could be initiated.... 😄

I have been listening to the various channels on this app for several years and with exception of a few times when their server was down for update or service it has performed very well. Not only do you get the Jazz Radio with your premium membership but you also have complete access to their other apps such as Classical Radio and Rock Radio. For a curated steaming source I doubt that you could find anything close to this one.

5/5App closes after starting up for about 1-2 seconds
Have used this app for at least 1.5 years without any problems. Lately app briefly opens then closes, in a few seconds. It does not happen every time I start it, but it crashes more than it stays up to run. Uninstall-> reinstall does not help, nor does rebooting the iPad. Same app works perfectly on my Pixel 7. Great musical selection, it’s the #1 music app I use, but now it is useless until problem fixed. Help!
