  1. 5/5I’m excited for my January Journey!! ✨

A significant product with incredible design. 🤩💯👏🏼 January AI gives us an intuitive app that seamlessly integrates dietary health monitoring in your day-to-day. You see the impact of any food or drink immediately, and you can easily edit/add ingredients or choose suggested alternatives to compare what you consume, before you consume. 🫐🥩🥦The functions and features continue to build and provide opportunities for thoughtful and well-managed dietary health. 📈🙌🏼✅ January AI will reduce the need for spreadsheets, manual calorie counting, or squinting to read nutritional values and fine-printed ingredients. And it will prove essential for any goal-setting or accountability with health coaches and nutritionists. 🎯📊👩🏽‍⚕️

  2. 4/5NO ability to enter blood glucose readings

got this to help monitor my blood glucose, says it helps monitor it but, it does so based on foods’ Glycemic Index, which may be great for your regular people but, not so great for those of us close to being or being pre-diabetics.. For example it said a large banana would have a low impact on my BG, maybe for some but for me; 2 hrs after eating it with protein (peanut butter), my BG was 141 and 4 hrs later was 125.. Just no way this app can be accurate at predicting your blood glucose impact with foods when it does NOT allow you to enter what your blood glucose readings are after eating certain foods when their prediction is off.. if it allowed you to enter your 90mins after eating blood glucose reading when first eating a new food you log, maybe then it could actually help predict how a food/meal will impact your blood glucose…until then, this app is not worth paying for to ‘me’, maybe after it includes us logging our BG too, i will pay for it.. 4 stars though for it is an easy to use app and helpful in other areas..

  3. 5/5Intelligently Accurate = AI

I stumbled across this app from an advertisement on Instagram. As one that’s pre diabetic, I thought why not check it out. To my surprise I have scanned various foods and it’s been 98% accurate on figuring out what’s on the plate! For a relatively new app of this type, the developers have done a phenomenal job connecting pictures of food and connecting it to a database of foods that can trigger a spike in blood sugar levels. Every diabetic or health conscious person should be using this app!

  4. 3/5App is nice but usless

If you are considering using this app, it is important to note that it does not provide any nutritional data to Apple Health. For instance, if you are using a fitness app to monitor your calorie intake and usage after a workout, this app is not suitable for your needs. As I mentioned, the app is functional, but it is essentially useless. You would be better served by the Bevel app. However, if you prefer this app, feel free to use it. I do not and cannot recommend it to anyone serious about their health. I will give it three stars for its design, but no more. I hope that the developers will improve it in the future.

  5. 5/5Great app! 👍🏽

I’ve tried my fair share of health apps, but the January app stands out. It’s not every day you find something that’s both easy to navigate and genuinely useful. Taking a quick photo of my meals and getting insights into my glucose levels helps me make better choices without fuss. Plus, it’s encouraging to see my progress. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to stay on top of their health without it feeling like a chore.
