4/5Great free app with no ads!
I am very satisfied with being able to mix music for free! However I have one issue (besides the frequent crashes)… when sliding through the music to line up when the song starts, it is very imprecise. It seems that moving the sound over by even one pixel moves it by a whole second. This makes it impossible to line up some songs. Please let the “audio waves” of the songs be more stretched out so we can actually line up songs precisely. Thanks!!

1/5Aaaaaaaaand It’s Ruined
Jammable was awesome. It was a fun app that mare so many cool ideas come to life in terms of song mixing. But now in just one day the app has been ruined. Jammable has just locked everything behind a paywall, including certain effects that were previously free, full-length screen recording, and even the ability to save your mixes onto your phone. Even Mixy, which is far more limited than Jammable, gives you the ability to download mixes onto your phone storage. Who does Jammable think this subscription service is for? Because last time I checked, a lot of the top users are kids who rely on their parents to buy everything for them (and I don’t think Jammable is a big-enough expense to validate paying $30 a year to use the most basic functions). Even the base version of Nintendo Switch Online is less expensive than this! All I can say is that until Jammable realizes how much this business decision will backfire on them and removes the paywall, I’m not going to post on it anymore, and I hope others will too.

1/5REMOVE THE SUBSCRIPTION
This app was once fine. Buggy? Sure. Not easy to make mashups with precision in? Yeah. I would have given it a 4 to 5 star rating before. And then they added Jam Plus and EVERYTHING is ruined. Reverb? Gone. All power-ups except Mute and Overdrive? Gone (even Reverb). The regular UI? Gone. Customizing your profile? Gone. Worst of all? Any mashup over 15 seconds is paywalled, and you can’t get around this by recording from your phone’s menu instead of the built in recorder. And I could forgive ALL OF THIS, if it didn’t POP UP AN AD EVERY 10 SECONDS REMINDING YOU THAY IT EXISTS. If you do ANYTHING an ad will show up. Slightly move the songs? Ad. Press play or pause? Ad. This horrible monetization is the textbook definition of ruining something good. It is completely unusable now.

4/5One tiny problem
Great app, love the mashups. But I decided I wanted to add my own song onto it. But I was stuck doing research for like literally 1-2 hours about how to change a screen recording into an audio file. But when I finally do make it an audio file, it blacks out and won’t let me click on it. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong but I just wish it would let you choose from your photos instead. Aside from that, really good and cool app.

2/5Buggy / limited UI
I’ve been using jammable for a few months now and found it fun to play with, but their new update adding in a paywall to make tracks spoils it. I’d understand if they had more effect features, better stem isolation, and ai voice capabilities but the app has none of those. All the effects are half baked, and the ai analysis / auto placement of mixing songs is just alright at best. Hopefully they fix this in the future but for now I don’t think it’s worth the PayPal price to use such a limited and unmaintained app. Seems like a money grab before an exit strategy. Very disappointed bc I had a lot of faith in the app progressing but it’s been the same for the last year.
