I reside in Utah and am newer to the sport of Windsurfing. High mountain lakes can be very challenging as well as rewarding. It has been a bear attempting to locate reliable wind reports. It’s demoralizing to drive an hour and a half and find little wind or not realize that the wind will be excessively shifting around as it does some days.. I am grateful I found this app! I am able to get to the lakes more often and have a much better time learning and laughing at myself. I am noticeably improving so that’s great. There is the occasional kiteboarding going on and they feel the gruff of the mountain lakes too. It would be clearly obvious with this app which day to get out and do that. See you there!

4/5Issue with latest update
I'm a long time subscriber, constant user and serious SFBay windsurfer. I love and rely heavily on this app. But I must say that I'm not thrilled with the latest update of the app. In my most common use, I typically will be closely monitoring the wind at a particular site to decide if I should go or what sail to rig. Previously, I would just pull down to refresh to get the latest update of the reading. Now when I'm on a site and pull down, that site closes and I'm back to my favorites list. Then I might need to scroll back to the site of interest before I then click on it again. Slows me down and is frustrating. Please go back to making it easy for the user to quickly get the updated reading for a specific site. If there is now a different way to refresh with one touch that I haven't figured out please tell us!

4/5Apple Watch integration
Love the new Apple Watch integration, but I’m having a problem with widget refresh. I have a widget added to my watch face, but the widget typically lags the actual conditions by a significant amount of time. So in the end, I have to tap on the widget and look at my favorites list on the watch in order to see the actual current wind conditions. It would be great if the widget updated more frequently or synchronized with the latest conditions, so I could just glance at the watch and see the actual current conditions. Also, the round border around the widget appears to fill in to show the time. That seems like it’s marginally useful. Might be better to have the round border show wind direction instead. That would free up more space inside the circle to display the wind speed in a larger font so that it’s actually legible.

5/5Not a windsurfer, but....
I live in a remote location on the southern Oregon coast where there is quite a bit of windsurfing. Due to the remote location at the ocean, it is difficult to get accurate forecasts of any kind, let alone specific wind gusts down to the hour. I’ve used iWindsurf on my iPhone for a few years and it’s the best forecasting I can get. Also, after a strong gust rocks my place, I can check in at the closest location to learn fairly quickly just how strong it was. I really appreciate this app!

5/5No life without the iWindsurf app!!!
I have been using iWindsurf since about the mid 80’s and it has made my life so much better and fun because all of my family windsurfs so the weather forecasts, along with all the other windsurf information on it has been great! We have bought and sold gear with it, found places to sail that we knew nothing about, got advice from your blog, and seriously check it every single day of my life for Wind !!! I could go on and on but it is THE BEST APP I HAVE!!!! Thank you big time!!!! Bill Mangan
