  1. 5/5Great app, sold me on iVIM

I started iVIM this month (Jan ‘24) after careful research narrowed my choice down to four GLP-1 online providers. This iVIM app tipped the balance, was actually the only provider I could find offering an app other than WW (which only works if you have insurance covering the med, not my case). As a lifetime dieter I’ve used many diet tracking apps but could see that the iVIM app was tailored to their program. In addition to providing simple, effective daily tracking of a few important things, it is full of well-produced videos and articles offering additional info on a weekly basis, which is great — what you need to know next but not overwhelming. It also offers your personal macro recommendations (protein, fat, carbs) and meal plans (with recipes) customized to your food preferences. And it can hook up to Fitbits or similar health-tracking devices. Yes, there are some glitches with food entry that they’ll work out but the app is easy-to-use and a fantastic help as it is. Thank you iVIM! PS the shots are working, it’s amazing how much my appetite and snacking is curbed 🥳.

  2. 5/5Happy

This app and program are amazing! I’ve been on the semaglutide now for a month and a half and I’ve already lost 13 lbs. I feel like I’m in control of my appetite now instead of of controlling me and I feel better than I have in a long time! Can’t wait to continue this weightloss journey :-) and I love that the doctors genuinely care about me and are available for video appointments anytime. The prices are amazing I pay $200 for a month supply and with regular doctors and pharmacies they charge $1400 a month that’s ridiculous! I am super happy I decided to try this and I highly recommend it to anyone who has struggled with weightloss :-)

  3. 2/5Not impressed

There are several bugs. I thought paying for a membership might offer good value, but unfortunately I fell for it. This App tries and fails at even the most basic functions. $75 a month for pre-scripted health care, no access to labs, no customization of services, AI written content posts, the positive reviews on here are likely bots who don’t have to use the app. 1. Food Logging Issue: I had been logging food for weeks but when I went back into my history, nothing I entered was saved. 2. Apple health connectivity Again my account on the app stores no information and typically cannot show any information about my activity or apple health data which I monitor daily. 3. It constantly logs me out. Every time I tap a button I. The app it asks me to log in and then takes me to a failure to access my account. Surprise, I was already logged in. 4. For main activities like prescriptions etc I use the web portal because this app is so buggy (which is just loaded with sales pitches) 5. The sessions are not in depth often providing information that is readily accessible. The community section is a message board that seems to work okay. The app is a symptom of low value from this company that I am experiencing. They are essentially a weight loss drug dispensary. Wish this service was better and I wish I had done a shorter membership plan. As of now I will stuck with IVIM for another 5 months. Will be counting the days until I can escape!

  4. 1/5Buggy and Not Ready for Prod

The app is full of bugs. Very limited information. You have to save links sent to you in various emails and then log into 3 or more different website to gain access to different features. If you aren’t using a food database, integrate to MyFitness Pal and AppleHealth (really, I turn it on and it turns itself back off within your app)! I tried to use the IVIM app to track my macros but none of the common foods are showing up or they’re in accurate so I moved back to MFP. I would assume you are running analytics to better understand your patients trends, habits, side effects, etc. Your current app and web experience is going to give garbage analytics. They need to streamline the experience and give there customers one home for their full needs. It’s frustrating! Make 1 app and 1 website experience, they should mirror one another period. Solicit a tech savvy and non savvy group of testers. No dev teams should release this kind of UX in today market.

  5. 1/5App is awful, product is fine. Team apparently not open to feedback.

Can some information be provided on the status of the app? Is it in the middle of a massive upgrade and just undergoing some glitches in the process? I’m experiencing quite a bit of frustration with the user experience due to the recent update and overall disorganization. I apologize if this post comes off as negative, as that is not my intent, but I’m not understanding why such a simple app is so complicated to use. The team has not approved my post asking this question in the internal community and seems that they’re not actually open to feedback or discussion. It’s frustrating that I have to keep track of all of this manually. 1) I can’t log or keep track of injections anymore. 2) The dates/dosing amounts are off based on the progression I was given AND between mobile vs. desktop. 3) My “next dose” shows I need to take it 3 days ago when I already did. 4) My refill date is different between mobile and desktop. 5) When I click to see what dose I should take next, it suggests the amount that I was instructed to take during week 2. 6) More generally speaking, I would appreciate if the referral program wasn’t the most prominent block upon login. Other features are more important. Can some insight be provided into what’s going on and if the app will be improved?
