1. 1/5HIGHWAY ROBBERY fast shuffle dupery. Ransomed for $300

   This app is a real sweat idea and HAD HAD a lot of potential, BUT now after having interested in a considerable amount of my personal time today , getting money area exactly the way I wanted to do with their (honestly shocking basic free texture) and adjusting colors, tones, and brightness is to look like different materials or different types of dirt and gravel I had something that my landscaper could actually probably understand the perspective I’m trying to get. !!!!!****!!!!!AND THEN YOU CANT EVEN SAVE YOUR WORK!!!!****!!!!! You get ONE and only ONE pop up to buy the app for $300. If you don’t pay up EVERYTHING will be deleted. After my was gone I went back several times to see if it was user error. And it’s not. You side line the app, DELETED. Close the app DELETED. Try to go back DELETED, click the little x DELETED, every step up to actually charging you account any thing else after that ONE and ONLY ONE pop up to pay 300$ your work will be DELETED. Before that pop up tho sure is saved. Get phone call, text, use other apps, heck I even order some food and went back to working on it it even froze a few time and I had to force close the app but it just opened back to where I was. I was very much quite enthusiastically into this app for like 6/7 hours today. Then some shock a lot of swearing and some wall patch on my kitchen wall from where my phone met the wall after i realized my project was gone. Then like a hour getting a project with a single item getting deleted after getting the ONE and ONLY ONE popup. I ligit wasted my entire Saturday on them just to get Stuck up and pretty much ransomed for $300!

2. 3/5Cut and paste

   This might help you visualize your projects, but not much better than cutting photos from a magazine and pasting them onto a photo might be. You could do the same thing in photoshop or canva is you don't mind sourcing your own photos of products and materials and doing some copy and paste. This app has a decent selection of products and materials, but it doesn't really do anything to adjust scale or size. If you're trying to do a detailed landscape design, you might need a more professional product. If you are just trying to make a visualization, this might work. Wayfair and Techobloc products are in the catalog. Unfortunately, I let the trial run out before I really had time to try it out. So I would suggest to new users to wait until they have time to take their house photos and time to sit down and mess around with this app. So they can try it out during the free trial period and before they pay the monthly subscripton rate. I am disappointed in my time management on this project, and the cost of my one month subscription is my ADHD tax.

3. 3/5Love-hate

   I have a love hate relationship with this app. When it works it’s great. But it’s constantly crashing. I would love to know if other people experienced the same problem. it takes forever to load the image library and then my screen blacks out and I have to start all over multiple times. Beyond frustrating. I can’t believe they can have a product load so slowly. I would love to know if it’s my device. When it works, it is ideal for trying to figure out your garden to get a concept of the different plants and colors and layout. It’s kind of easy to use when it works. There’s a few things that it’s really touchy about when it comes to moving the plants around. I also find trying to open my older renderings difficult. For the money that they’re asking I think these things should be working much more smoothly. I put a request in for help but didn’t hear back. When you purchase the product is pretty awesome, doesn’t have everything but it gets you started. I would like to know with other users have more up-to-date iPads. Sometimes I just want to throw it at the wall. But then it gives me a rendering that I can really work with hence my love-hate relationship.

4. 2/5Not for Pros as Described

   I think this could be a fun app if you own an iPad and want to play around with a project for your home, but it’s a waste of time if you’re a pro. I can’t believe no developer has seized the market for pros looking to do some light duty design on the iPad. If pro use wasn’t mentioned in the description (or it were free) I wouldn’t have given it a two star rating so if you’re a DIYer it may be a better experience for you then it was for me. Suggestions that would make this a much better experience drafting something up on the fly in front of a client in the field: allow markup within the app and the use of a finger or, even better, Apple Pencil. I would imagine that would be really easy to integrate into the app (but I’m not a developer). Secondly, give your paying clients an adequate plant database (without having to upload a bunch of photos, for approval, by myself) labeled by a common name and the botanical name with the search feature. The names are a mess. I searched for a Pieris japonica / andromeda as the first plant for my first ‘design’ with this app, and it wasn’t there. I think that’s a pretty darn common plant in high production in the majority of the US. If those changes are made I’d be happy to try a subscription again (I used the trial for a few days) and give an updated rating.

5. 3/5Needs cheaper options

   There needs to be a mid-tier price range. I'm thinking about getting into a design career, whether it be indoor or outdoor design... I'm not sure yet. I got extremely excited when I found this app, especially for the AR mode. I felt I'd finally be able to test my skills and see how I feel redesigning my yard (a former Japanese Garden that's seen better days...). I was blown away when I saw the ONLY asking price was $30 a month or $300 a year... Now I do feel the app is worth it to the right person, it definitely holds its value it's very top notch... But my issue is at just how little you get access to with the free option. There are only 29 objects TOTAL. That includes furniture, trees, and bushes. That's not possible to work with. I don't actually work in this line of work and want to use this for personal use/entertainment. The price just simply does not work for me. Not at all. And it really is unfortunate because I don't think there's another app on the store anywhere like it. Look up a game called "house flipper" on PC. I've dumped MANY hours into that game. This could very easily take influence and benefit from that game, especially with a one time payment of some sort.
