5/5A great way to experience the masters of horror
Love the immersive experience of these stories. Sitting with headphones on, listening to the background music of each story, as I read and flip the pages has brought a new experience to these well loved classic tales. If you love Poe, this is an awesome way to give a bit of life to the stories. I’ve been reading them for years now within the app, and it just doesn’t get old. I just wish the developers would bring some other horror classics to the iclassic collection.

So immersive. I always try to get into a quiet dark state at night in bed. And let these eerie tales, combined with haunting music, sad and often emotional graphics bring me an intense ghost story! Gather round the virtual campfire. The tales from Poe volume 3 are a great addition to your Scary Gothic horror collection. Not sure where you might go next. Being a classic horror monster buff it might be exciting to see some Mary Shelly, Bram Stoker, Robert Louis Stevenson or even HG Wells.

These books are entertaining and well done, but unfortunately I have to give them a low rating due to the apps suspicious behavior. I have purchased all of the iclassics and found that they all immediately default to the 'on' position in cellular data and immediately use nearly a megabyte of data. Why a book would need to use any data at all is curious and that they use that much data is both odd and suspicious. I wrote to the company at the email posted on their website but received no response. I cannot recommend purchasing these books unless they stop this practice of sending whatever data they're gathering and using customers cellular data without permission.

I am a huge fan! The artwork and production design is subtle and calculated. It play's on the reader's curiosity- thereby delivering a fantastic sense of interaction and adventure. The top notch soundscape makes headphones a real delight. Buy this gem, save it for a dark night, put on headphones and descend into the deliciously sublime and disturbing world of Poe.
