3/5Not the best for run/walk, timing is off
Fairly easy to figure out, easy to copy sets within intervals. Using this as my run/walk interval timer when my workout calls for differing intervals at specific times. Putting those workouts on my Garmin messes with my ability to analyze my pace for each overall segment. So when trying to hit specific paces within those intervals, having them be on time is of utter importance. I’ve noticed that the workouts I’ve built within this app eventually lag behind beginning the intervals, so each run and walk segment gets just a little longer. I’ve verified this by watching my watch when the countdown to switch starts and the next countdown, it’s not 30secs. Example, at the end of my made 31min workout in the app (1min warmup, 10min of 30/30 intervals, 5min of different intervals, 5min of yet different intervals, and finishing off with 10min of the first intervals), the total workout when finished says final time of 30:49. I wonder if the programming isn’t taking the voice prompts into consideration making this not the best for run/walk intervals of when trying to be very regimented about exact timing. Guess I’ll have to resort to wearing an interval timer.

5/5Enjoying so far!
This app has a lot of customization and is very easy to use. I like the ability to make custom intervals, add rounds, and even change the alert sounds. I’m finally able to put all my workouts in one place. Two feature suggestions that would improve it even more: 1. Would be really awesome to have a calendar feature to show which days i did what, “streaks” for how many days in a row I’ve used the app, and/or schedule alerts for specific custom routines. 2. On the “My Routines” page, each routine takes up about 1/3 of the screen. If the icon/box for each was smaller (or if there was a toggle to view as a grid/a list of only the names), it would be easier to add/browse through my custom routines

5/5Might be the BEST interval timer on the market
I’ve been trying just about every interval timer in the app store and this one takes the medal. I’ve been using Seconds Pro until lately but it seems that the developers don’t work on that app very much anymore so updates are far and few in between and functionality is not all there. This app is regularly being updated so that’s already better and its got almost all of the features Seconds Pro does. If this Intervals app added a feature where the interval duration was read out loud, for example “cycle for 3 minutes” this app would be without a doubt THE BEST interval timer in the app store! If you then added a widget that you could access your timers from, it would be icing on the cake, but even just announcing the duration would make it a literally perfect app, in my opinion at least. All in all, thanks for the awesome app you guys provided!

3/5great tool and UI; would be fantastic with a couple more features
easy to use and pretty UI. great tool for offloading working memory while maintaining precise timing to track routines with hold durations. it would be fantastic with a couple more features: 1) switch between durations and reps/weight—for example, being able to go from 10 reps of 30 second bridge holds to 12 reps of RDLs with 8 kg kettlebell (just add a button to go to start the rest period before the next exercise). otherwise you can’t have routines that incorporate hold durations and reps (unless you estimate how long they take) 2) more space (or separate field) with more detailed exercise descriptions—so one can do RDLs but in a clearly visible description have details, including cues and instructions etc (exercise: “single leg hamstring curls”, “prone with ankle straps on ft2 cable”, 10lbs x 15 reps followed by 30 second rest before next set) without these features you have to switch to another app or system whenever you have routines that include both holds and reps (and/or weights) BONUS POINTS: simple data export for interoperability space to add your own links to videos or other reference material more fine-tuned counting options—the exercise/description separation would help for naming next exercise without it being a mouthful custom names for warm up, cool down, and rest (for example, I might want time for preparation instead of warmup) more voices, including the muppets and cartoon characters

5/5Great for Customized PT and Core Workouts at Home
I’ve had this app for the past four months and use it to make customized timers for my core workouts and physical therapy. So far, it definitely keeps me motivated and on track! It’s nice to see exactly how long something will take me before I start, and once I hit start it’s I’ve already won because everything is laid out for me in advance—there’s no backing out! Also keeps track of my activities over the last week/month/6mo/1yr, meaning I can take it to my physical therapist and easily show them my performance without having to estimate or beat around the bush about doing (or not doing) my exercises every day. The sound/chime customization options are nice, and the appearance is fairly sleek and straight forward.

Hi folks, We continue improving and polishing the app based on your feedback. # Fixes - We made a minor fix regarding the Share&Import features of routines. In some cases, routines weren't imported, now it should work without any issues. - We made a few fixes related to battery consumption. Thanks a lot for the insights to our dear user Raoul. - Our dear user Katie reported about spontaneous app crash during your classes, we did our best to find and fix this bad guy. # Improvements - We added an option to include durations of intervals announcement. The setting can be found in General -> Workout -> Advanced. The setting is disabled by default, please, enable it manually if you find it useful. - Extended max intervals duration to 99 minutes. # Important Because of the issues on iOS 17 related to cloud sync we had to disable this feature in Intervals app. Now we made a few fixes here and there and really hope you won’t experience any of the weird issues like loosing templates, data inconsistency and duplication. We added an option manually control iCloud sync via Settings, it is disabled by default. Thanks a lot to all of you who helped us catch and fix all the issues, you are the best and we are proud to be a part of such amazing community! # Your opinion means a lot, if you have a minute, please, share your feedback of using the app in the AppStore. Hi folks, Hope you’re doing well! In this update, we made a small fix for the issue you mentioned in support related to voice assistance. For now, we’ve had to limit the number of available voices to one per locale. We use the voice recommended by the Apple SDK for your locale. Please update the app and let us know the results. We’re also considering other options, but we hope this fix will be helpful for now. Thanks again for all your messages and support!
