INKLINE COMES TO iPAD: • A new Today screen - a front page of your brief, your top stories by category, what your monitors caught overnight, and your notes. • A reading layout that keeps the river beside the story, a sidebar for your journalists and library, and notes you can write by hand with Apple Pencil. • Keyboard shortcuts, pointer and drag-and-drop. Also new, on iPhone and iPad: • IMPROVED SET UP WITH AI - describe your interests and Inkline builds categories of real publications, each checked so you don't start with dead links. • A refreshed look, built around Inkline's ink-drop mark. • Smoother scrolling, and a batch of fixes from real-device testing.

The Editorial Update - Inkline's biggest release yet. • A directory of 800+ hand-checked publications. Browse the world's best outlets by topic and in your language, and add any in a tap. • One search for everything. Type once to find publications to follow, stories already in your news, and topics to monitor across the web. • Voices, reimagined. See the journalists behind your feeds, grouped by publication - follow anyone in a tap. • Compare the coverage. When several of your outlets run the same story, read every version side by side. • A calmer, sharper look, drawn from Inkline's own ink-and-ripple mark. Faster, smoother, and upgraded for the newsroom.

    • Compare coverage on a timeline - see who broke a story, who followed, and whether it's one wire recycled or a story gaining traction. On supported devices, an on-device read shows how the framing shifts as it spreads. • New Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets: Latest, Coverage, and Trending. • Import your feeds from another reader (OPML), and start fresh anytime from Settings. • Performance improvements and bug fixes.

Inkline is now free to read. Reading, the reader, offline, bookmarks, highlights, notes and search are yours with up to 50 publications, and you can move any of them between categories. A new front page. Today opens on the lead story with its headline above the photograph, the publications that also ran it one tap away, and each of your categories beneath. If you preferred the old arrangement it is still there - Editorial or Classic, from the gear at the top. Inkline Radio reads the day to you. Your front page, a category, a watchword's coverage or a single story, written and spoken entirely on the device, so it works with no signal. It reads English. Watch has become a tab of its own: keywords, the journalists you follow and your mutes in one place, led by whatever has actually caught something. Notes open on a full page with the story kept in view, counting words and saving as you write. The Library keeps what you saved, what you wrote and what they said on separate shelves. Inkline Pro adds web-wide watchwords and alerts, the spoken briefings, the on-device AI Brief and Compare Coverage, Voices, and unlimited publications - now monthly as well as yearly, each with a one-week free trial. Also in this release: a subscription you already pay for now works inside Inkline - sign in at the publication and it is remembered - and a story we can only get the opening lines of says so instead of pretending that is the article.
