"body": "Using this app on a 6 generation iPad (more than enough processing power and RAM to handle this). Trying to make notes and add photos to a 200 page PDF. I use it offline as I inspect apartments (so, no cellular or WiFi). This app frequently crashes, and it loses the PDF that I have in my Favorite/Recent. sometimes annotations aren’t saved and are lost. I’m using the free version and would never consider buying unless they fix this buggy mess. Moving on to a different app - I recommend others do as well. *UPDATE - dev wants me to contact them, but I don’t have time to be an unpaid beta tester.",

I have zero issue paying the premium subscription, my question is I have family sharing enabled linked to mine and my wife’s account, will she be able to download and use the premium version as well? Rather not be paying twice when we’re just sending pdfs or related documents back and forth. Can someone get back to me on this with any insight? 5 stars, this is by far the best pdf editor and converter out, bar none.",

"body": "The two sample operations did not allow a fair evaluation of the app. I opted for the monthly sub, but I will cancel. It assembles, splits, reorganizes as advertised, but its limited feature set has me wondering how much of it is coded or if its just an assemblage of basic calls to the system software components: the OCR text output is worse than what you can copy from a screen image capture in the MacOS, the PDF editing is limited to rudimentary tools that look straight out of MS Draw '95—there is no adjustment for contrast, light/dark, skew. Skew! If your sheet feeder is anything like mine you're getting slightly slanted text. If your scanner did not auto correct, this app won't fix it. But that lack of text output formats is unforgivable. DOCX is all you get and that took two attempts to get a file that would open. The resulting text output was baffling: \"maintained\" became \"inaintained.\" The algorithm is dumb, there's no error correction. Terrestrial -> Terrehtrial. disappointment -> dissappoiñment. I'll say. For some reason the app added a tilde to numerous lowercase \"n\"s. For accurate text output it would be faster to type it yourself. Maybe this app was someone's hard work? It feels like shareware, if you can remember that far back, and certainly not worth the asking price.",

"body": "I signed up for iLovePDF Premium expecting a streamlined PDF workflow, but the product is surprisingly frustrating to use. Almost every action exports a new file, forces you into a new folder, and breaks your workflow by opening new tabs and restarting the process. Instead of allowing compound actions or efficient editing, it constantly generates multiple versions of the same file. It turns what should be simple tasks into a cluttered, inefficient mess. The interface also feels oddly rigid compared to other modern PDF tools. Even basic usability things—like being able to move the toolbar to the right side to match common design patterns—aren’t available. What really pushed this into one-star territory was the billing experience. The service advertises “cancel anytime” and implies satisfaction guarantees, but when I asked to cancel shortly after subscribing because the product didn’t meet expectations, they refused to refund the annual payment. Instead, support simply pointed me to the terms and conditions. That combination of clunky workflow design + inflexible billing practices makes this feel pretty disingenuous. There are far better PDF tools out there that respect both your time and your customers. I canceled and won’t be coming back.",

"body": "Needed to convert images to PDF and the app I normally used suddenly required a paid membership. So I deleted that app, but this was the only free one I found that was able to convert more than one image to PDF attached once. My only complaint is that the images would be disordered once I uploaded them from my photo library. It's an issue when trying to convert documents to PDF. Also the number of images that can be converted is limited but that's expected, given its a free app.",
