"body": "When I booked my flight from Portland to Paris (through Reykjavik), I didn’t reserve a seat. 24 hours before the flight when I checked in, I used the app to see what seats were available. The only way to see how much a seat costs is to click on it. But that automatically reserves it at the same time. You can click on other seats but you can not ever undo and go back to the previous menu without reserving some kind of extra cost paid seat. The app won’t let you finish check-in without paying for the seat. That is bonkers. We should be able to check which seats are available and at what cost without having to commit to buying them. Terrible UI and enough (combined with the horrible sardine can crowds and punishing gate agents at Reykjavik airport) to make me choose another carrier.",

"body": "Again this app failed. Booked flight to Amsterdam with layover in Iceland and it wanted me to book the bicycle all three legs. I paid my dues and later find out that I only have booking for the returning flights with two bicycles and reservation for bicycle on the outbound flight to Amsterdam. Call the airline that was willing to pay me back a refund on the Double booking but only if I paid first for the outbound. Still haven’t seen them paying me the refund. Rental car booking also bad. U never can trust an app. The app default books your rental car for noon when your flight arrives 5-6 hours earlier …. Airline ski luggage also problematic and failed in delivering my skis once traveling to Norway for cross country ski race. I had to spend $1000 on ski equipment So I could race after training for months. Of course I never got any refund.",

"body": "This app is absolutely horrible. I’ve tried to input my family’s personal info i.e. passport numbers, frequent flyer numbers, addresses, telephone numbers etc and the app does not save the information. Sometimes it saves it but the information is not saved correctly. For example our birthdates were all saved as a day earlier than they really are…and country codes for telephone numbers get changed after inter them. I’ve tried to enter this information numerous times with the same results. I don’t know how an airline can function with such a dysfunctional app. Here’s hoping they still let me on the plane. Ridiculous.",

"body": "In a day when we use apps for everything, the Icelandair app offered no functionality that was beneficial to our trip and we never actually used the app. We purchased our tickets with code-share partner Alaska Airlines (they have a great app), but could not use the Icelandair app to choose seats or pre-order meals as we would normally do with code-share flights. We tried to use the app to enter passport information but had to redo it all at the airport anyway. Aside from checking that your flight is on time, you don’t need this app. I’d like to see Icelandair do better.",
