1. 5/5Mobile Deposit works half the time

   **Updated**. There was a monthly deposit limit on my account that I did not know about. They have increased it and it should work from now on. I hope it does, so far so good. I am at the end of my rope with Mobile Deposit. I own 2 small businesses and have 6 accounts at ICCU. Mobile Deposit doesn’t work about 1/2 the time and I have to drive to the bank. I deposit about 5 checks a day. Why should I have to drive to the bank to do it? I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Logged in and logged out. Called so many times I cannot count. I am about ready to switch banks to a bank with reliable mobile deposit app. I cannot call support every time it is broken and sit on hold for 15 minutes just to be told to login and log out or to try to deposit into a different account. That is not acceptable. My Iphone is less than a year old and keeps the apps up-to-date. I am super frustrated.

   I don’t know if it’s ICCU or ICCU mobile app but a couple times my husband has made a deposit we have had overdraft fees we were told time before last that it was 8 PM I clarified that it was 8 PM my time as his main office is usually in Boise and it is an hour ahead of us. She clarified with me that it was 8 PM my time. So it happened again two weeks later and my husband was charged two overdraft fees because it said we didn’t make the deposit until the ninth when he made it well before 8 PM around like 7:15pm our time. It was showing deposited within seconds and said the eighth but within an hour it was saying the ninth it was deposited. My husband made a purchase after he made the deposit and it was showing the eighth?! I called in the guy was not very helpful he was kind of rude and made it seem like I was just trying to overdraft and lie about what happened to get the fee waived he said he would note my account so they wouldn’t waive any more fees I’m assuming like I was making up excuses?! H told me me that it was 8 PM Boise time that I was misinformed!! it’s not my fault if I or my husband got the overdraft charge if we were misinformed regarding the time because we got it in before the time they told us! I have the email proving time of deposit and date. Probably the worst customer service I’ve got in a long time!!

3. 1/5Private photo access? For what?

   Before you give the “it’s for mobile deposit excuse” know that isn’t necessary to have access to your full photo library. This app will get private access to all your photos whether you give it to them or not. I know because I’ve asked ICCU about it (mobile deposit was the excuse) and even deleted the app and cache data and when I reinstalled it it asked for all the permissions except ones that had to do with photos, I said NO to all of them yet they still have private photo access. A bit weird don’t you think? There is no need for that. All other apps allow you to choose which photos to give access to, all of them, none of them, or specific ones. But not this app, the option to choose isn’t even there. It’s greyed out. Even for “mobile deposit” you take a picture and that current picture is what they should get, they don’t need access to the rest of your private photos to get the current one. Plus there is no customization anymore, they’re starting to become a big bank and most likely sell user data including your photos. If any developer or bank associate wants to contact me feel free. I doubt they will and I doubt they will change this. Plus it looks like they pay for “good” reviews.

   Excellent professional interest from each and every individual I have ever worked with at ICCU, no matter which Branch! No matter what time of day! No matter how difficult or simple what I need to take care of! The occasional: “sorry for the inconvenience” while you work on things in the middle of the night, is no problem because I know that very soon everything will be available on line. It’s so simple to transfer from one account to another, or to use the ATM’s. Things have been very difficult for us over the past year and so many things have been so changeable and unpredictable, but our relationship with ICCU and all of your help has brought calm and peace of mind that I have depended on. Without Our Great GOD and ICCU, I most certainly would have been sunk many times. Thank You All for your guidance and help😌

   This is the best app for mobile banking. I love how I can see what I have transfer money all at my fingertips instantly. I live in Idaho and California so I have a bank there and let me tell you I hated there mobile app and card control. The app for the bank isn’t convenient and there card control is a joke. They don’t let me control the amount I can take out per month or transaction. They have a set amount of 500 and they don’t have features like if your out of the state or one live or ATM purchase or anything like that I’ve gone in and no one at the bank knows really how to help me with it . So I have stopped using it and am only using your bank and app I just can’t trust the bank there. Thank you for the best app and banking tool there is !
