  1. 5/5Great Workout App!

I have used this product since its inception to track my workouts and have zero complaints. looking back at the saved results, I have logged over 2000 workouts since 2010. It tracks the type of workout from weightlifting to elliptical to open outdoor activities (think yard work) to open indoor activities (think vacuuming or cleaning a bathroom). It tracks the amount of time, calories, and even effort. If you are outside, it will map your route. The app works with my iPhone and my Apple Watch seamlessly. It also connects to my Polar Heart-rate monitor while it is connected to my elliptical. Note: I do find the heart rate strap to be more accurate on the calorie burn than the watch, but you can choose whether the app uses the watch or strap for your heart rate tracking.

  2. 5/5Great for Spinning

I have used this app for the past 3 years in conjunction with my heart monitor. I have found the calorie count and other statistics offered in this app to be quite useful. I especially enjoy the ability to review past performances and compare them to my current results. The ability to edit the data (filling in missing information) allows me to have complete historical results. As an example, some of the spin cycles I use do not transmit the mileage. The ability to enter the mileage after the fact enables me to have continuity in my results. I would highly recommend this app for anyone seeking an easy and accurate method to track your exercise results.

  3. 2/5Poor Execution on HR Zones

Please describe your issue: I’m really frustrated with the heart rate zones feature of the app. (1) even when I hit the save button the app never saves my custom zone labels (2) I can’t understand how your hr calculator is calculating and adjusts my zones. I can’t use it if I don’t understand it. (3) I have calculated my max HR to be 160. If I use your customized hr zones calculator online I get the results I expect. However in the app the % of max hr rate is never what I expect when I try to set my zones based on entering my heart rates for each zone. I just want to use the Karvonen method but even your built in Karvonen method does not tie to the expected results in the app. Your online calculator for the Karvonen method works fine. (4) I don’t understand the interplay between adjusting zones from the settings menu vs setting the zones using the gear icon for a particular exercise. I gave up on your app once before for this issue but came back to it because the visuals are great showing my target HR and actual HR against the backdrop of the HR zones. But I’m always having to do mental calculations in my head to figure out what my % Max HR is from my actual HR when exercising. I would love it if this feature worked, or I could find clear instructions how to use it and understand the calculations behind it.

  4. 5/5Best Cardio TrainIng App - Bar None

I’ve been with this app practically from day one, and will tell you this is probably the best fitness tracking application available today. I’ve tried quite a few over the years and despite a few quirks, frustrations, and sometimes slow development, have never considered moving to anything else. Figifit tracks my cardio workouts and provides the tools to set up heart rate based workouts, monitor my performance and track my fitness. It does not try to be a video coach or dietician like so many other apps out there- thank god! Occasionally, a few bugs crawl into the app with new feature releases. Sometimes annoying but I’ll live with it given the resolute focus on heart rate training these folks have. I use it for everything from cycling to weightlifting, running, rowing and spinning. If you are a marathoner or Triathlete there is no other app to use. Strava has its place, but if you’re looking to do serious training (or just get back to healthy) - this is your go to app.

  5. 5/5Loved this app but so janky now.

Wish they’d get the updates to work well. Now I have moved from chest strap to Apple Watch and there are so many problems. App is completely janky. Almost every day that I workout I have to uninstall and reinstall the app off the watch and a few times per week on the phone as well. The stability of tracking HR and workouts is almost completely unreliable. It’s really saddening bc at this point I’m thinking it’s time to move to another app. Just sad bc I think I’ve been using this since 2012? I’ll be thrilled to update this to a rave review if anything changes!
