2/5Getting worse, still decent.
I do like this app, I like the options it has. It is reactive to music, so it it always a bit behind beat drops. Recently it has been strobing the light, even when you choose a color pallet that doesn’t include white and it’s on “smooth”. It will seamlessly transition and then randomly FLASH FLASH FLASH FLASH at full brightness white. It makes it unusable on the patio as it is too distracting (don’t get me wrong, i like strobes and use that feature too, but a nice warm yellow to red spectrum is relaxing on a warm summer night).

App works perfectly, no issues so far. If you have lots of Phillips hue lights, this app is a must have. Our kids love having disco parties at home. Work both with music playing on an iPhone or iPad, or uses the microphone to synchronize with the beat of music playing in the room.

4/5Fun app but cuts off after a few songs
So I got this app before I even received my hue bulbs in the mail and at first it’s a blast to use especially during this quarantine. I do have an issue though, sometimes the light show randomly stops and I’m not able to reconnect. I usually have to exit the app and sometimes disconnect the lights as well to reset and try again. Otherwise, I’m having a blast

4/5Great app, does exactly what it says it does
So I just set up a bunch of LED strips from Hue in my living room for when I DJ on stream. I found this app through the Phillips hue application actually and I found that this application works very well and says what it does there’s one problem that made me not give it a five at least twice during my show I had to unplug the lights and completely reset them so that the app could recognize them again and continue it’s disco function please fix this and I’ll rate five

5/5So much fun! I’m a little worried though.
This app works beautifully. Especially with music that has a strong beat, like trance. However, I’m worried because I’m not sure at all if the rapid color changing, and especially the strobe effects, are damaging to the light bulbs or not. I wonder if it’s safe to use this a few times a month or not, or if it’s shortening the lifespan of my expensive light bulbs. Any feedback on this particular concern would be amazing.
