v2.4 "Money-truth" makes your numbers tell the whole story — every refund, deposit and payout accounted for. - Security deposits: hold one against a booking, then mark it returned or kept after checkout. A kept (or partially kept) amount counts as income and splits with your co-host. Optional deposit-return reminder. - Cancellations & refunds: cancel with no, partial or full refund. The dates free up on your calendar and your connected channels, and your revenue and co-host share adjust automatically. Co-host statements now match the owner statement more closely, with clearer summaries, listing-level rows, guest and nights context, and safer fixed-fee privacy. Wording is now co-host-facing so payouts and shared costs are easier to understand.

HostBook 2.9.5 is our most polished release yet. • Faster, smoother navigation and scrolling, even with busy portfolios. • A redesigned Add Transaction experience makes bookings, expenses, cleaning, and listing fees easier to record correctly. • Purpose-built iPad layouts use the full screen in portrait and landscape, while iPhone stays focused and compact. • Calendar labels remain readable, connected listings are grouped in Day Overview, and cross-month stays now produce accurate monthly occupancy. • Channel changes are handled more reliably, including cancellations, rebookings, moved reservations, manual blocks, and connected listings. • Reports drill-downs now show complete booking and upcoming-charge details. • Light is now the default appearance for new installs; System and Dark remain available. • Apple Watch snapshot delivery is more efficient and reliable.

HostBook 2.9.6 brings clearer channel visibility and a more dependable daily workflow. • The new Sync Center shows configured feeds, connected spaces, update freshness, publishing status, and recent activity without overstating external channel refreshes. • Connected listings are grouped so availability relationships are easier to understand at a glance. • Apple Watch Today prioritizes arrivals and departures. Quick Add offers a clearer Today/Tomorrow flow and confirms iPhone delivery or queueing. • Saving a pending balance as paid now refreshes Dashboard by Listing immediately. • With Spread across months enabled, full quarterly or annual charges are no longer counted again in Dashboard, Reports, or co-host statements. • New Guest stays open when you switch apps, preserves the unsaved draft, and uses a cleaner native Back flow. • Additional responsiveness and stability refinements across iPhone and iPad.

Bug fixes and general improvements

HostBook 3.0 introduces Team Access — a shared home for hosts and co-hosts. • Invite a co-host with a secure, private invitation and manage members, permissions, and pending invitations in one place. • Each co-host sees only the listings you assign. Guest details and financial reports stay limited to what you approve. • Co-hosts can record bookings and expenses for you on their assigned listings. • Co-host booking requests can wait for your approval before joining the schedule. • Changes sync live, so your whole team works from the same calendar and numbers on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. • Choose a 12-hour or 24-hour time format for check-in and check-out times. • Tapping a notification now opens a dedicated view with the details of that update. • HostBook is now fully localized in German, Spanish, French, and Italian. • Stability improvements, including a fix for a crash in the booking form.
