  1. 5/5Great tool for Homekit

Really like this app. The app notified me of 3 Kasa plugs that became unresponsive in HomeKit, still in the on position so everything was working. I usually don’t turn these plugs off unless we were out of town and I had forgotten to turn off the devices that were connected to them. Just unplugged and replugged and they were back again. One of the plugs is connected to the wife's vanity. If we had left town and a curling iron was left on and I couldn't turn it off, this would be a huge problem. Side note: I have never had these plugs go unresponsive out of the blue.

  2. 5/5Easy on the eyes—and incredibly useful

As someone who once gave a less than glowing review of the developer’s HomeLights app because of its design language (a review which I later amended when the developer made some promising improvements), I can enthusiastically confirm that not only does HomeCare look and feel more like a native app—it’s also just a really great tool. Loving the continued support for Shortcuts actions. If HomeLights looked more like this, I might become a lifetime user.

  3. 5/5Helpful utility

It is odd that I like an app so much even though I only interact with it when there is bad news. HomeCare works in the background flawlessly and does its job reliably. It saves me from finding out the hard way when one of my HomeKit devices is acting up.

  4. 4/5Almost perfect

I love everything about this app. Genuinely want this to be set up to a dedicated wall iPad running 24/7 in my network room via PoE but I wish it had a thread mesh network view to see how everything connects. That’s the only missing piece here. Literally almost perfect. This app helped me improve performance of my smart home. Love it.

  5. 5/5Great addition to HomeKit
