1. 5/5Really Good Game But can be better 2

   This game is amazing and seriously addicting — it really pulls you into the grind of trying to make it big in Hollywood. I love the detail and how much effort clearly went into building the star life journey. That said, it does take quite a while to become famous and land significant movie or TV roles. In my own playthrough, I didn’t get a show with a solid IMDb score (finally an 8.8!) until I was around 29. Before that, most of my projects had embarrassingly low scores (like 2.8), which made the climb to stardom feel extra slow. Another thing I’d like to see improved is the money system. Right now, even as an A-lister, I’m earning about $200k on average per project. In real life, top-tier actors pull in $10 million or more per film, so the payouts in the game don’t quite reflect the reality of what being a superstar means. Lastly, the overall difficulty feels like it’s locked on “hard mode.” It would be great if the devs added Easy, Medium, and Hard modes so players can choose how quickly (or slowly) they want their fame and fortune to build. Overall though, the game is really good and highly addictive. It just needs a few tweaks to balance the grind and rewards. Thanks for making this — looking forward to future updates!

2. 5/5Shows promise but lacks

   I am going to start by saying this is only constructive criticism with hopes that the feedback can be implemented somehow. The game overall is fun and I had a few bucks left over so I purchased enough energy to have 1000 total so as far as energy I have no critiques. However the glaring issue is getting booked for movies or shows especially late game. My current actor has 150 showreel rating, a 540 scene performance, and a 99 headshot but can’t seem to make any good worthwhile bookings even with the “Oskar” wins. Now basing that on real life it would make 0 sense. Out of 307 submissions I only got 70 acting jobs which means my acceptance rate was 4.38% a number that is surprising considering my character is an A list actor with multiple Oskar wins and top of the bankable 100. A rework of getting booked has to happen in order to balance out status and opportunity. I’m not saying my character should get every job I apply for however it would make sense if my acceptance rate was higher. Also the lack of good agents is astonishing seeing again as I am an A list actor and the highest agent I’ve seen is a 92. Another issue seems to be the overall performance of film/tv shows that are released. You can have a 167 performance with a director that has a 122 rating but for some reason the critics will give poor reviews which seems nonsensical. Last but not least is the money issue. Now I understand just flooding you with money makes the game too easy but it is very rare to get a good paying gig unless your agent books the role and they rarely get you a good role. I have other small tweaks but there aren’t as prevalent as the issues mentioned beforehand. I don’t want an easy game and enjoy a challenge however this game currently is just a waste of time. Hoping for the best for the games future

3. 5/5Love the game. Couple suggested changes.

   I love the game and it’s so addicting. I like that it also doesn’t stall out after you make a little progress like a lot of games. There are a bunch of new challenges that come along with transitioning your career into producer/director roles. Couple suggested changes - you should have an option to turn down roles that your agent tries to book. Especially because your rating seems to partially depend on the quality of the productions you’re a part of, you should be able to turn down low quality ones… or when the pay is too low. I’ve gotten to the point of just firing my agent after a while because they just book absolutely everything. I think the endorsements could use a rebalance. At some point it’s not worth it to put in that much energy without a bigger payday. You should also be allowed to fire your manager without losing all your endorsements. It would also be really nice if that some point you showed up on the list of actors you can book for a movie you’re producing. Since you can write the screenplay, shouldn’t you also be able to star in it? Also, I think the actors should have some measure of fit for the projects like the locations do - some actors probably not great for some movies. As it stands I just basically have to book the same actors for everything to get the rating up. Would also be nice to get some control over open casting. I only write these because I love the game! Some of these changes will just keep me playing forever lol.

4. 3/5Strategy or Chance?

   So I been playing this game for 10hrs straight and I have not been able to determine any kind of strategy. I like the game the idea is cool but after spending this much time I’m tired and disappointed after not seeing any progress. I want to play more but I hate the idea of spending so much time on something and not making progress. I will say it kept me entertained for those 10+ hrs but now I will move onto another game maybe I will redownload it after some updates. To the Dev pls pls pls pls utilize a tutorial it will help gamers develop a strategy that they can use to make NOTICEABLE progress in the game thus making it worthwhile playing! I will give it 3 stars because there’s still a lot of room for improvement. Change the energy utilization when boosting charisma movement scene study improv etc and why does these progress bars not increase after completing ALL of the acting classes on B, I, A there’s should be some correlation I’d expect but there isn’t. Even after I got all those progress bars to 84 or higher and all acting class completed I started getting declined for auditions at a higher rate ( does not correlate ) also there should be more of an explanation of what talent managers and talent agents do. The game does not have ads I will say that is the biggest plus if I had to sit through ads while dealing with the complications of this game I promise I would not have made it 10+hrs straight, just 1 as I do on other games. For that reason I will be back good luck to the dev hopefully my review helps ( : This is an update; can you add the winners of the awards like in the music star game. On week 52 it shows the winners. In this app it only shows nominees but not winners also a tab for awards like in music star game.

5. 5/5Great Game - Could be even Better

   Absolutely love this game. I’ve played it a couple times, but at a certain point it becomes so easy that there’s no point continuing. I have some ideas for tweaks and other things that could make it more fun. 1. When you start investing in films, there should be more busts than hits. Right now I always make money when I invest in a film, but that’s rare in the real world. 2. Same for when you have a movie studio and you produce your own tv series and then everyone bids on it. What if no one bids on it because they don’t want it? It could make everything riskier. 3. Directors. Can you add famous “name” directors to the game? So that when you’re an aspiring actor, it’s really hard to get cast in one of their films, but could also alter your career? I think about your publishing game and how hard it is to get published by one of the Big Five. What is there were 5 big directors you need to get cast by? Same when it comes to studios. What are the 5 big studios you want to get cast by? 4. News stories. Can you add a feature where you have news stories announcing films or tv projects? You have it with the reviews (which is awesome!), but I think you could build out the world a bit to make it more fun. Think about the website Deadline. It would be cool to have pop up news stories about the new film by one of the big 5 directors. Or a news story about which film was nominated for 11 Oscars.
