"title": "Refreshing Digital Art Experience",
"body": "I want to preface this review by saying I’ve had the Heavypaint app on my desktop computer for a while and I finally decided to get it on my iPad. I love how simple and easy to use the interface is, and the learning curve is minimal. It’s also a great app for learning some of the fundamentals of both digital and traditional art in the sense that it restricts the amount of extra fluff you have to deal with. I think the biggest appeal of this app is actually that it’s such a pared-down experience. All of the focus is on the process rather than the tool. It made me love digital art again. You’ve done something great with this!",

"title": "Stuck on verification for pro version but overall good app!",
"body": "Overall this is a really wonderful light and powerful painting app. Honestly it’s better than Procreate. But I had an issue with verification taking a long time to send for more than an hour. Still haven’t gotten the email. Update: After 2 days, I figured it probably just wasn’t working with outlook/hotmail emails, so I used my gmail instead but it won’t let me do the restore purchase since the email was under my hotmail. Could be a weird bug in the verification system. But overall it’s a good painting app.",

"body": "This is my favorite painting app, but you have to approach with an open mind and some patience. This app is constantly being updated server-side by one guy, so things randomly don’t work correctly and new bugs pop up, but they’re fixed very quickly with new iterations. Painting-wise, there are tons of options, and I’m still experimenting and finding new things, and i have been using this for several months. The dedication and responsiveness from the dev is really great, and the community for this app is awesome.",

"body": "I’ve been using Heavypaint since the early beta version-and I still love it. I bounce back and forth between oils, gouache and digital painting and with Heavypaint the transition is seamless. Vaughn is dedicated and receptive to the community, the discord group is robust and fun. HP is nothing like procreate or infinite painter, it’s designed from the ground up with artists in mind first and foremost. Did I mention I frikkin live it?",

"body": "I want to love this app, but I’ve never had a trouble-free session. Something always ends up corrupted, lost, pixelated, etc. I’m randomly logged out in the middle of creating, my pro purchase isn’t recognized, the in-app option to manage purchases only mentions subscriptions… I know this was made by artists, but it really needs some technical polish to even approach the usability of other apps. I’ve spent dozens of hours in HEAVYPAINT with essentially noting to show for it, because everything I’ve made has gotten screwed up by the program somehow.",
