1. 1/5Absolutely Awful Functionality

   I use a number of medical apps including Epic which is top notch (it even offers pie charts and graphs of my historical data), but HealtheLife cannot even handle the most basic functions. For example if I try to look at a test result, it just says “see note” or “see scan”(which is nowhere to be found) and if I click “learn more about this”, instead of explaining the purpose of the test, it says no results available and lists a bunch of possible general searches. The one star is only because the app does alllow me to message my doctor, but I have found no other reason to use this app.

   Obviously, the developers are not listening:( This app is beyond awful. Every time I have a notification that I have new lab results, I can't find them. It takes me to a page with all my old results, and not directly to the new lab results. The app is very flat and does not offer the powerful features that most apps, such as MyChart, offer. For starts, the bulk of the features is a redirect to the doctor's website. If I can go directly to the website, why having an app that does that? The messaging feature is extremely impersonal because you can't communicate with your physician directly. It is a general mail box that seems to be sort out to the doctors after they receive the message from the sender. The messaging feature lack a robust reply and forward features. Sometimes, I am forced to use forward to reply a message from my doctor! Letters and documents added to the records are extremely hard to find or simply won't show at all. I wish my doctor switch to MyChart. This is a very not impressive app.

   his is, without question, the most ineffective health app I’ve ever used. It’s so poorly designed that I am seriously considering changing physicians solely because this is the platform they chose to rely on. The messaging system is virtually unusable, the interface is disorganized, and even the login process is needlessly difficult. It is unacceptable that this app is being presented as a primary communication tool for patients. We’re already dealing with health concerns—adding the frustration of a dysfunctional app is beyond unreasonable. Both the developers and the medical practice should rethink how they expect patients to manage their care through something this inadequate.

4. 1/5Are you kidding me!

   This app is absolutely ridiculous! Do you know who uses this app?! SICK PEOPLE! Do you think thats ok?! It is NOT! I’m going to specifically complain about Penn Highlands Dubois , Pa, who spends money on everything that doesn’t make the lives of their patients better! What era do you think we are in!?! I have a right to my medical information as soon as it’s available ! This health care system is a joke ! You could have used a better patient portal! Years ago it was half decent , then you changed it with minimal info. Now you changed it again & now I have no access to MY information ! No wonder everyone’s traveling to places like Cleveland clinic or Pittsburgh to get help. Sick people having to travel so far to get help! & you can’t even give us a decent app! It shows how greedy & how you really don’t give a care about any of your patients ! I could go on & on about how you ruin lives !

5. 1/5No health-promoting features at all

   I wanted to send a new message to my doctor for a prescription request. When I pressed Send button, an error message popped saying “You are not authorized to access this page (Error 403).” What the heck is this?! The App should support this messaging feature so that I can avoid a long waiting time for scheduling and seeing my doctor for a common illness. This App does nothing but shows the past medical records, such as blood pressure, temperature, etc. taken at the last visit. Useless and helpless. So disappointed with the portal service provided by the Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. Features are very limited to almost doing nothing for patients.
