  1. 4/5Helpful

I find this health app very helpful in monitoring my heart rate paired with my Oxiline Pressure Pro monitor. The data is very easy to read & keep track of. Extremely easy to set up as well. It supports multiple types of devices as well. Having a single app to track multiple health readings is fantastic. Can use without setting up an account, a big plus for anyone concerned about security issues. I docked 1 star due to having trouble finding a compatible thermometer. Almost all compatible thermometers on their list are not available in the U.S. Hopefully I’ll have better luck with weight scales when it comes time to buy one.

  2. 5/5Best app to record and store your health data!

I wanted to take the time to express how thoroughly pleased I am with the MedM Health Diary app! I am 65 years old with type 2 diabetes and occasional high blood pressure. I was in search of a health app that would allow me to keep record of both, as well as my weight and daily steps - and that would sync with Apple Health and my meter. I decided to download several apps and to try them all for a week - deleting them as I went along when they didn’t do what I wanted them to do! MedM was the clear winner after only two days! The app syncs to my meter and is so user friendly when I need to input other data manually. And all of my Apple Health data has a place in the app too! I am so happy with this app and recommend it to everyone who likes to have all of their health data in one spot - that is easy to use and has a great customizable dashboard that shows the health info you want to see at a glance when you open the app. This app helps me keep track of all my health info in one great place!

  3. 1/5No longer works with my hardware

I bought a blood pressure monitor and it said to use this app. It mostly worked but the sync took forever to their servers, so the app was terribly written, and I disabled most of it except for the BP. But after the latest iOS updates, the app shows the splash screen for several seconds and then quits, it won’t fully open. Now I’m stuck with a BP monitor I can’t sync to my Apple Health history. On top of that I’m seeing other reviews saying they’ve done a bait and switch and won’t even sync data to Apple Health without paying; this was free and is the reason I bought the monitor, for Apple Health compatibility. The app is written so poorly, if it ever works again I would never consider paying for it; I feel like the developer should maybe pay me for the time I spent keeping my phone awake to sync the first few times. And it sounds like I may be stuck with buying another blood pressure monitor that has an app that still works and is included, especially if it never works again. Really unusual to have an app be this actually terrible and then to quit working entirely, especially with a paid hardware device I’m stuck with.

  4. 5/5The best way to consolidate data from smart devices by different manufacturers

I’ve started using the app recently and I highly recommend it even if no smart devices are involved: manually entering measurements (weight, temperature, blood pressure, notes) is easy and pushing data to Apple Health works very well. But the app really shines when it comes to directly integrating a number of different brands and devices. It’s truly impressive! All of that without annoying ads. I had a minor issue connecting to my Omron VIVA scale: it didn't work very well, but I was able to connect it to MedM Weight app and get the data through it. But the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it doesn't support my BP ( Omron M7 Intelli IT, HEM-7322T). I’ll gladly change my evaluation if support for that ever gets added. #### Update: 08/May/2020 I was able to exchange my BP monitor to the X7 Smart and the new device works beautifully with the app. Great job! I’m changing my initial review to 5 stars. 🙂 Also, I forgot to mention another cool aspect: the Health MedM website. A central place to see and share the data collected by the apps. It's also possible to export the data in different formats. It would be nice if we could generate a report with the text from the Notes, like we can with the other measurements.

  5. 1/5Not accurate and requires paid subscription to share data to Apple health infrastructure

If you use multiple health apps/devices, and expect to see integrated health data, this device is going to cost 35$ a year on a subscription plan. While it does Bluetooth your BP to its own app for free, you have to subscribe to their plan in order to get the info into Apple’s HEALTH app. I don’t think that should cost 35$ a year and the only way I want to see my health data presented to me is in HEALTH app. As a result, I had to enter the readings manually in the Apple HEALTH app. If this devise is your only source of BP data, maybe it’s good enough. But other apps have other algorithms to analyze info derived from blood pressure readings, such as pulse and HRV that provide information that is beyond the scope of this app. Finally, one star because this device consistently overstated my BP against a reference BP cuff (by Omron - checked at my doctor’s office). Had I believed this wrist cuff’s data I might have created a low BP situation by attempting to medicate/reduce what was actually normal BP. That’s just dangerous.
